I was at this concert. I was let in free, back stage, by a security guard. The group didn't actually pull up in a Rolls Royce they arrived in Caddys. I ran up to the vehicles and looked in the windows. After the first song started the guard let us in. I actually walked up on stage, exactly from where this video was shot, and was on stage for one song before I was discovered and put over the wall.
Best concert experience of my life! Hands down. I still have the t-shirt I bought for $7!
KathmanJeff i was there too. I walked on stage too. And i actually was in the band for a song until jimmy hendrix noticed and had me thru out.

Just got out of the Navy and started my 2-3 day a week concert series in Pittsburgh, some great bands came through Pittsburgh in the 70s,There were a lot of venues to play at. After this I went to Watkins Glen 600,000, biggest ever.Still have my ticket. The fences and gates were down.i still have 90% of my ticket stubs today. My daughter love it, she put them in order by date. Those where good time's, no regrets, actually I was on here hunting for the Pink Floyd tour at the Civic Arena, they just came out with Dark Side of the Moon, 1st half was horrible, so much smoke you could barely see,when the 2nd half started they Opened with Breathe and the doom roof opened up, place went crazy just about then the chemicals kicked in, what a show

Just saw Plant 30 minutes ago, in Pittsburgh, and I can certainly say it was enjoyable. His voice is still awesome even if it is an octave lower. Amazing.

That's cool. I used to live right next to that airport and the stretch of highway they show, in Moon Township PA. There is something pretty awesome about seeing my original musical idols driving along a stretch of road I've traveled countless times over the years. It really makes me wonder...
I was at the concert and got in free. I was actually on stage for a short time beside the cameraman until security threw me over the wall. True story.

I was only 6 years old then,.... wouldn't let me in
My dad was there working when they got off the plane. They taxied the plane to the cargo 2 building along the parkway west, which housed the US Postal Service. It's about a 1/2 mile from the site of the old Pittsburgh Airport. They did this to avoid all the publicity. In the video, you also see the motorcade approaching the actual enterance to the airport in Moon Twp, as well as the top of Carnegie Hill before the tunnel.
my dad was at this show...funny story. he still has his whole tickets in a cigar box somewhere. he and my mom drove from akron to the show and forgot their tickets. they ended up buying tickets from a scalper. i'll have to show him this video. maybe he'll pull those tickets out and show them to me again...
I was blessed to attend this concert at Three Rivers Stadium. I'm sure there was a mushroom cloud rising from the stadium. After Stairway, there was this huge box in front of the stage and 100's of white doves came flying out. What a trip! Fantastic concert. I paid $4 for the ticket. Phenomenal! Thank God for Rock 'n' Roll!!!

That's the most impressive tour bus ever and no other band came even close to it! No traffic and much faster than the train.

C6, actually, the fifth string remains at A. That string is fretted at the 5th fret on “Bron-yr-air” (“Golden Breast” in Welsh) so that the 4th and 5th are in unison. It’s the same tuning used on “Freinds” and “Poor Tom”.

My very first concert! - my older sister took me. I was 11 and she had to convince me to go because I missed a little league baseball game. I remember the “cloud” in the stadium and feeling weird after a while. I also remember the cool black lighting effects for “No Quarter “. That same summer Pink Floyd came with Dark Side, I actually turned it down for another baseball game I had to play 😖

I hate how you or your original supplier cut these films up. These films shouldn't be cut just cause they are on CZcams. Ypu remind me of really bad dealers back in the days before internet. Lot's of your films are cut. It sucks.
