In this Minecraft video I spawned 10'000 villagers and made them simulate surviving D-day. Watch as these villagers attempt to invade the Normandy beaches.

D-Day is the code name for the starting day of a military operation. H-hour is the hour the operation started. One day before D-Day is is called D-1 and One day after D-Day is called D+1.

D day is a part of operation overlord operation it is focuses in capturing France in hands of Germans d day is called as a Normandy landing in. Short d day is a first part of operation overlord

The tanks weren’t actually carried in boats, but had canvas covers that let them be waterproof, only issue, the weather was bad and most just sank.

No,first,this isn’t even that accurate, bombing the back and not the front is intended,to cut of supply lines,drop troops,and weaken backups,second,they used wire cutters to cut the barbed wires,and there isn’t even a wall to hide behind.(I am not that accurate too)

As a historian I take respect that you put enough time to know the accuracy that amongst the troops, yes indeed the first infantry division did raid the Omaha beach, and I take respect that you put this in the morning hours since the landings started H-Hour at 6:30

The British army had 31 amopthus tanks and 2 of them sank but for the they too had the same number of tanks and 27 sank

Seriously. This is beyond ridiculous. The estimated MAXIMUM casualties of the battle of Normandy, both sides, all beaches, is a maximum of around 20,000 casualties.
Take for example the battle of Kursk on the Eastern Front. The MINIMUM number of casualties was nearly 1,028,600!
And don't even get me started on Stalingrad... 2,147,200 MINIMUM casualties, that's TWO MILLION, with a maximum of 4,172,000 casualties... 4 MILLION maximum! The amount of deaths in Stalingrad were around SEVEN HUNDRED THOUSAND people. So ironically as much as people like to portray it as a bloody struggle to liberate Europe, D-Day was ROOKIE business compared to the Eastern Front.
Edit: sure the misleading hook as "one of the deadliest" does make it hook better, but consider that "one of the most important" could also work and wouldn't be incorrect.
