Anyone else noticed the indicator on from the roundabout at 1:56 till about 2:57 😂.
Great video. I've recently bought a 2004 955i speed triple and my dad just bought a 1999 daytona

I'm 54 and 5'10. Fits me perfectly. I went from Oxfordshire to Scotland in one hit. Only stopping for fuel and food.
Took me around 9 hours. Half way I strapped my rucksack to the pillion seat with some cords from a service station. 3 days later I rode back in the rain without a single problem.
It does 50mpg all the time, and I don't hang around.
    That was 5 years ago. I paid £2750 02 plate 24k.
Still got one for that now.

I'm 58 and still have mine. Same year, same colour. I've owned it since 2002, I'm the second owner. I am getting to the stage where I think I need to sell it. The trouble is, every time I do ride it, I think, oh just one more year. I absolutely love it. I'm going to hate to have to part with it.

I found an '02 as my barn find two years ago. It had 67mi. on it. I changed all the fluids and got to break in the bloody thing, Really. Just turned 1100mi. All original. Even the tires are 22 yo and look brand new, without a crack. Delivery night for the bike is my only posted video. Only a minute long, check it out. By the way like your high exhaust. The stock can sticks past everything else at the back of the bike. Being somewhat lower I hit the tip on crap behind me backing her up all the time. Makes me nuts. I'm totally with you, I love the thing. My cup of tea ,scraping pegs on cruiser bikes while hardly turning, not so much. Also don't want all the aids and electric B's on the new stuff plus paying through the nose for it all. Just pure bike.

@@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes Keeping it is not a problem. Have a hard time getting rid of things I love, I have three other street bikes. They don't take up much space and always amazed by how the same two wheels on the ground feel so different with different machines. Funny too is all info available now on line of the known bike issues were all there after sitting brand new for twenty years. I addressed them quickly, so I would get no surprises. The only thing left to be a problem is the starter issue but so far it seems ok so I have left it alone. Only other thing that sucks is the alcohol in fuel nowadays reeks havoc on the plastic tanks causing them to swell and leach fuel out from under the paint. Iv been mixing with some race fuel and I found a pump that has no alcohol to try and mitigate the situation. I believe Governments making this crappy fuel are doing it to kill off all old vehicles for the future because otherwise this fuel destroys everything and is good for nothing else except giving farmers something to grow. No problem yet but it worries me to be honest. There was a slight debate in my head about it being in climate control and essentially new and unused all those years, how many in the world could there possibly be. But he'll they are built to be used and I am not a wealthy person to just spend money to let something sit for the future. I think the bike and me are happier to use it for what it was intended for. Praise the guy that bought something new for 14k drove it home and parked it with 4mi on the OD. For my enjoyment 20 years later. It got driven to my house and dropped in my lap with the 67mi on it. It would have been even less but my friend got lost on a toll road for a bit and getting aggravated did 130mph on the old thing fresh out of the long slumber. It happened for some reason and felt meant to be, so I bit the line. It was sort of a gamble, it could just blow up but I would have kicked myself later if I let her get away. Bikes are in my blood and feel lost without them.

@@Budget-Cars-And-Bikes I hardly ever look down at the dials when riding and stay mainly fixed on the road ahead, with the occasional look in the mirrors and over the shoulder and try to use the indicators as little as possible.
