WORST Referee Mistakes In NBA History - Sport
Poor Duncan. Rarely shows emotions, and got ejected for the rare time he showed it.
🤣😂really don't know IF this is supposed to be a joke or not... made me laugh nevertheless!!!🤣😂
UNDERRATED comment!!!
@@maxdobasquete why’d it make you laugh? I don’t get it
Tony Parker's reaction always makes me laugh.
If Joey Crawford ejected guys like Ron Artest, Dennis Rodman, Charles Oakley, Charles Barkley, Patrick Ewing, or Shaquille O’Neal for a strange reason, Joey would only live for another 3 seconds.

Joey is eternal. He is an ethereal multi dimensional being. He is the sun and moon, he’s the tides in the ocean and the wind on the plains. He is not a mere mortal, but something else. Legend has it he can change states of matter at will, and cause hurricanes and tornados. Legend has it he spawned the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs. Many theories point to Joey being the center of the supermassive black hole our galaxy revolves around. He is the ultimate referee of the observable universe. His word is true and absolute. There are only a few guarantees in life; death, taxes, and Joey Crawford ejecting a random person. Legend also has it he ejected the entire 101 section of the oracle arena for looking in his general direction. Thou shall not look upon Joey unless He he looks upon you. A thousand techs upon him, for he may save us from true hard fought basketball games.

Amazing how some refs can't differentiate sound's of getting slapped on the wrist or a clean block with the sound of the leather.
That's cuz they're deaf, blind & old lol
Not excusing the refs, but sometimes in a packed arena with players and fans screaming, plus the fact that refs have to pay attention to all 10 players on the court, makes it difficult to differentiate
It’s not the refs fault if we possess the technology to make the call correctly every time and still fail to make the correct calls.
@@ALY-xc7fl i undestood the refs the only time i'll ever hate them for was the 2002 kings vs lakers it took too long for chris webber to get in the hall of fame cause of that
@@thegrudge1783 that shit was fixed and nothing can convince me other wise. About 20% of those calls were questionable and the other 80% were just straight up horse shit. Although because of Kobe’s death I doubt that will rarely if ever get brought up as an actual problem. I mean I don’t want to be the guy that challenges one of Kobe’s ships, and don’t blame anyone else who thinks the same.
Also yeah people forget how good Webber was after the Michigan debacle. Everyone shits on him for calling that TO even though half the bench was screaming at him to call it. He was an extremely talented NBA player and def deserves to be in the hall. Anyone who reads this should watch that fab five documentary, it does a nearly perfect job of explaining the whole situation including that series of events that led to that timeout call. Webber got sort of shafted, although a starting D1 basketball player should know when they are out of timeouts in crunch time in a natty.
Also remember that regular season game when the blazers were fighting for a playoff spot and where Gobert clearly goaltended Dame's layup. Dame got pissed in the end lmao
Worse, it cannot be challenged by the coach.
That lakers vs kings series was a fu*** disgrace. I am not even a kings fan. But that was just awful
I'm a Hawks fan since the Mookie Blaylock days and I was pissed about it and my Mother who's a big sports fan was cussing at the TV saying something ain't right.. We all suspected that the fix was in.. Some of The Kings Players talked about that for years.. They have always suspected something was off.. and I be damn it came out..
Facts
Duncan should be Crawford's psychologist
This video is SO necessary. Great job! A lot of people call the NBA soft nowadays, yet fail to recognise how refs and rules are partially responsible for incentivizing flops and other non-competitive decisions within the four lines. People tune in to see the players, not the refs which usually get away with their mistakes and inherent biases (sometimes borderline racism, as you can see on Sheed's case)
FACTS!!
Detroit pistons should’ve have a 3 peat it wasn’t for that terrible call by the official on Dennis Rodman
If only Detroit had a Threepeat in our books. It could make up for the Droughtroit KittyKats.
It wasn’t rodman it was lambeir on Kareem.
I don't have any sympathy for the Detroit Pistons of that era. They played the dirtiest out of all the NBA teams, and they had competition for that.
@@jahimuddin2306 like you know anything about Detroit or or team.
@@orlandofields1973, I was literally born and raised in Detroit.
How about that uncalled goaltend for dame? I believe that was also on rudy gobert.
Yep
They need to change rules about this. That goaltend cannot be challenged by the coach.
@@pressplayulysses why
@@Adzo78 if I remember correctly, the "coach challenge" can only be used against calls made by referees, like a foul.
In this case, the referee did not call a goaltend.
@@pressplayulysses oh yeah I know what you mean yeah they can’t challenge it only hope that they review it
Joey Crawford was employed by NBA to make other refs look competent. He set the bar so low, any replacement would've been better.
And that's saying alot.. Dude help rob teams of championships..
Just before I watch this video, I would just like to say this. The refereeing in the 2002 WCF was not a mistake. It was not even close.
it was a setup
what about the 2006 nba finals?
Get the fuck out of here
@@nickbrooks2408 wdym that shit was rigged
@@sehapoul7097 No shit. The way he worded that seems like he's saying it wasn't.
Champion: **Exists**
Referees: “We don’t do that here”
I’m curious why you only said “many people accusing the game of being rigged” regarding the SAC LAL game, when a ref from that series literally went to jail for rigging the series and even wrote a book on it lol
It’s crazy how Joey Crawford even had a job for as long as he did. He should’ve been fired a long time ago.
There was Blazers and Jazz game where Gobert clearly goaltended a layup by Dame that would have tied the game, but the refs didn't call it, and the Blazers would end up losing the game. It was so blatant even the commentators said it was a missed call
Lakers vs kings were rigged. i've seen a ref confirming the scandal cause he bet on the lakers to win and he was the one officiating the game lol
That last comment got me good!!!! “The video would be 2 hours long” lmaoooooo
The Best sport Channel ❤️ much Love...
From Philippines 😉
🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭Wohoooo🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Basketball with my cousin
Love the vids🔥🔥🔥
omg I was watching that Billups play live, serious WTF moment. Unreal this dude was around for so long. Still the only time I've ever seen a ref just completely bowl someone over
Love your vids
I appreciate good refs, but damn there's so many dumb calls and no calls. I know there's rigged moments but I honestly don't think every game is rigged.
Not every game is rigged.. I think when or if Big Market teams make the Playoffs they somehow get extra treatment..
Not every game. But most are unfortunately
You also forgot about how Rudy gobert easily goaltended dame lillards shot and it cost the game
I remember watching Keyon ball out at MU. Dude was my idol growing up in KC. Remember getting his autograph on a shoot around top. Felt like I had gotten a golden ticket.
The funniest was tim duncan ejection 😂
what about the Eisley 3 that was ruled out in Game 6 98 finals, or the 2 by Harper that should have been ruled out but was good...or Scottie Pippen hanging from the rim at Game 6 97 finals..
You should do the top 10 worst calls in NHL history
ayo whats your editing software
That Lakers Sacramento series was probably the most obvious case of rigging a series ever
Duncan is just a giant teddy bear xD poor guy wasnt allowed to be happy xD
8:40 menace
U forgot that during the 2016 ECF raps vs Cavs game 6 or 7 bismack biyombo clean blocked LeBron at the basket refs called a foul on biyombo that resulted in both derozan and Lowry getting techs in a span of 2mins
Its a few calls from the 4th quarter of 2018 NBA Finals that could’ve made this list
Lmfaoooooooo Crawford wanted to fight Duncan 😭😭
No he didn’t want to fight him…he wanted a black man to lose his job….
@@BedTimeZzz Why is everything about race to you?
I remember watching a ga.e between the Thunder and the Blazers in 2012. Blazers were up by 2, Kevin Durant goes for a layup then LaMarcus Aldridge blocks the shot. However, Scott Foster called a goal tend which cost the Blazers the win. The NBA overruled that call. So it wasn't a goal tend.
Or the 1998 finals game 6 where a bucket was given to the bulls even though it was late and the jazz bucket that was taken from them even though it was clearly before the shot clock. In a game like that, there should be no room for bad calls
I will 100 percent confirm this comment. I have talked about this one for years and no one hardly knows about it. Thank you
please do a video for 10 worst traveling violations that didn't get whistled.
I wonder if Kobe was like: Damn these refs really suck, i wonder if i can get away with elbowing someone.
Should be a Joey Crawford compilation
You should put the whole Heat vs Celtics playoff series in hear.
Hi love your video
That KD out of bounds thing, really scares me. How can refs not see that? That really really scares me. These refs are blind
Ah the Ed Malloy game, a Dan LeBatard Show staple.
1) I’m a life long warriors fan and even I can admit The KD out of bounds should have been called it was obvious.
2)Does the nba not allow content creators to use footage of the botched calls? The moments you described were in pictures. Great job either way i enjoyed the video.
"new out look on life", you mean ANYTHING can be a foul. I got fouled on my way to work, WHERE MY CALL!!
Eveyone remembers 2014-15 Bulls vs Cavs Semis, where the Bulls should've have a 3-1 lea butd because an uncalled timeout violation that the referee didn't call that would put them up by 1 point, resulted to the LeBron dagger.
I still can’t get over the 2002 WCF. Kings got ripped off
Alt title: the los angeles referees highlights
Can’t believe he’s posting after Dwight Howard’s hilarious tech
The mike bibby foul happened to me when a kid head butt me and I got the foul and I got a blood nose and then I went off for 30
9:16 -- this is lebron flexing the power given to him by the nba.
I just realized that Dexton Crutchfield looks like Shawn Marion, only 20 years older. (Dexton, love you though, you invented jumping)
Next video Jaylen Brown Nonstop Sports 💪💪💪
You missed when joey crawford called a foul on Camby who wasn't even in the game
Dang aint never been this early
Crazy how KD was way out of bounces on that pass and the refs still looked at it and found nothing wrong and allowed the basket wow smh that's when u know refs always be cheating smh so frustrating as a basketball fan
Agreed. Like how blind can they be to not see that KD is out of bounds. It's not like he's just stepping on the line.
I WAS THE 500 THOUSANDTH SUBBER!!!!!!!!!
This is why my brother thinks refs are blind and stupid i think not
Pretty sure I'm the only person on the planet that knows about this game. 2007 game 4 of wcf. The spurs shot 25 to the Utah jazzs 2 free Throws and Derick Fisher got ejected for laughing at a call where he cleanly defended manu. This might be worse than that 2002 Lakers game
Anytime a foul was called on Dwayne Wade in the 2006 finals. 🤣🤣🤣
So many "mistake's" against Lakers rival's in play off games...
Here’s the worst officiating calls ever where Steph Curry got a foul for the cleanest steal ever on kyrie and where he got his 6th for running in front of lechina
Save it 💀 no excuse for blowing a 3-1 lead. Worst choke in history 😂
Cade Reimer um no go back look at the calls they were clearly favoring lechina and the cavs
im a warriors fan and was watching the game and id say we pretty much deserved that for the terrible no call
How is Jordan’s push off on Byron Russell not #1 let alone in here at all.
Not only did that blatant foul end the series early, win him a championship, contribute to a 3peat, and make many people consider him the goat, but it’s also one of the most played highlights of all time.
Tatum foul for clapping is insane
I have been a Lebron fan all my life , but , even when KD stepped out of bounds, that was f*cking embarrasing , those refs need to be vanished from america , period.
It was frustrating how you talked about the call but didn't actually show the footage several times
The call on Laimbeer is the most "legit" of these ones. It could happen. The other ones are laughable.
Wait wait wait hold up - the Kevin Durant out of bounds save was reviewed??? And cleared??? Is that correct?
Scottie Pippen's phantom foul against the Knicks in the playoffs should've been on this list.... Horrible call and the Knicks went to the Finals, eventually losing to the Rockets, thankfully...
where is that entire warriors cavs series?
despite the economic crisis i still think this is a right time to start up an investment
Most intelligent words I've heard.

@@mk20130470 They're scam bots
That KD out of bounds play was a terrible call.
THe Phantom foul against the Lakers is the worst call in NBA history!!! I'm a Pistons fan BTW
You missed rudy gobert goaltendind damian lillards shot at the end of the game. Still a great video.
Noone will ever surpass Tim Donaghy as the winningest referee of all time.
Can you imagine being a ref and getting criticism from Lebron 10-15 times per game?
I got a tech for saying gimme that when I blocked a kid 😔
Rockets vs jazz wcf gm6. Malone puts drexler in a bear hug to get stockton an open 3 pointer. Which he sank and won the game and series.
Bibby was holding onto Kobe
Giannis steps out of bound is a tied game against OKC and the refs didn't call it .
paul george foul bated that one time
IDK wtf you talking about but Bibby clearly was holding Kobe at 7:13 The call may have been questionable at best but to deem it the worst call of all time is a bigggggg stretch.
Joey crawford deserves to officiate hell basketball later on.
The Refs are getting worse and worse and the NBA won't do anything about it
u lost me when u called joey crawford a good ref lol
Where’s the video of each of these occurrences? We don’t want to hear you talk about it, we want to see it 🤦🏾♂️
U forgot the 8 fouls be DBook
Thought the game was rigged before this video. Now I know it is rigged after this video.
Honorable mention the last quarter and overtime of game 1 of the 2018 finals was an absolute shit show. It's never talked about because of the jr Smith play
There was nothing wrong with that Game. Warriors won fair and square.
Game 6 og Kings Lakers is one of the worst ref jobs ever, but you know what?
The Kings still had game 7 at home and couldn't get it done. Should it have gone there? No. But it is not the ref's sole fault they lost.
That moment when lebron moves with the ball without dribbling
Where is Kevin McHale’s clothesline on Kurt Rambis?
hey you forgot the phanthom foul against Chicago 1994...
Cause in the early 2000s offensive fouls weren't a common thing
Almost everything in this vid was a mike Korzemba video
Might as well just get defended and score some points.
WORST REFEREE MISTAKES?? .. THIS VIDEO SHOULD BE A YEAR LONG ..
Basketball players should never flop. It’s a soccer thing. Always play hard like the old school Pistons. Prison ball.
the most obvious foul on Durant in the Thunder LA first round series
