Tough break at the end of the 6 hours. You can do everything right and still suffer from events beyond your control. Endurance has got to be the most challenging type of racing there is, on crew and machinery. All in all, well done to the team and yourself David for nailing all the parts you _could_ control!

Thanks a lot for your kind words! Yes, I feel happy with my pace and where I handed the car over, but as you say, the rest is out of my control!

What a legend, on and off the track. That was pretty strange on ACC that you ended up still getting a podium and you had no idea haha Unfortunately it didn't pay off at Paul Ricard. There's always another race. One thing I'd like to ask is, I see a lot of sim racers go from sim racing to the actual track, but racing your BMW M6 in ACC, THEN going to the actual car, how did it differ? Was it easier to get adjusted after Sim Racing or was there things on ACC that just wasn't right?

Thanks a lot! Yeah with the server crash everything got a bit complicated!
When you're dealing with 1000s of a second, the virtual car & track and the real car & track are very different. Yes they are very close and a good way to prep for a weekend, but when it comes to getting the maximum out of the real car, it does take some adjustment to remember your real references, technique etc which takes a few laps. Paul Ricard was ok because it was the ESports race then the race, where it isn't so tight, but when it goes from Esports to Quali thats tough as we get 2laps max with the tyres before they're past their peak, and in those laps you're slightly adjusting still. So its been tough this year!

Awesome insight! A true bummer at the end with that contact.

Great video and awesome race even though the outcome wasn’t ideal, you need to take the positives out of any race even though you had a negative result take the positives that you were running high for so long. Another video that I would love to see is the one where you were driving Joe Achilles and Misha in the apex BMW M3 round the Nurburgring. He is so good and so funny and I think the people that follow you would find it hilarious. I am coming over and I have booked a ride in the GT2RSMR and a ride in the M3 on June 11, 2022, I hope you will be driving it as it would be great to catch up and have a laugh with you. Keep up the good work mate and 2022 hopefully will bring the M4 GT3.

Glad to see these videos are coming back, love the insight of the weekend! I remember being at a hotel near Brands Hatch after the racing had finished watching the end of the race feeling so frustrated for you guys but it was great to see you fighting up there! Mega performance in the Esports race
