I have some suggestions,
Please prepare some local recipes, it doesn't take time.
First is dahi bada,
Three days before you fry WADA and keep in freeze.
One day before party in the evening, you add in dahi.
Second is kadhi badi.
Badi also you prepare three days before, make red lentil dal wadi. It absorb kadhi well. Add only chill, salt haldi, dahi , besen and methi as spices in potli.
Third
You prepare farra.
You make one day before don't steam it.
Keep in freeze without steaming. Steam just in time, serve hot.
Children can hold in hand, good recipe for children and non oil lovers.
Fourth recipe is
Make takuwa for children three days before. Children can hold in hand.
Fifth
Make kheer for children. Don't add nuts which children don't like.
These are simple recipe.
Sixth
You can fry farra for some people, cut into pieces and it will become as snack.
