Underrated motor back in its day.. Was more around 420hp at the crank rather than 390hp.. People have gotten close to 1,000hp with the stock bottom end..
I have Kooks LT's and Stingers on mine. Had a Kooks OR/X initially and it was just too obnoxious under throttle. If I were younger, maybe. A catted Kooks X toned it down just enough to make it tolerable. These engines sound amazing with just about any configuration.
Same setup as my 03 except I went with the Metco 2.8 pulley. BF had a 5 week wait time for the 2.76 and I didn't wanna wait. Tuned at Dyno-tune Motorsports in Columbus Ohio Tuesday and put down 457hp. Probably gonna go down to the 2.76 soon and re-tune.
If Ford knows how to do one thing right, it’s making drivetrains and the motors they attach to. Ford 9 inch diff, 10R80, Coyote and Modular engines, and all the Windsor engines are built like brick shithouses and can handle tons of power without breaking a sweat.

@@NoName-nb9qi from what I read online it’s pretty common with the 4v I stopped worrying about it ever since I read a lot of forums on it and people saying there cars been doing it since they had them new, been 3 years with mine and countless pulls at the track and it still runs like a champ
Dang I want a 03 or 04 cobra so bad. Been wanting one since I was 13. I never drove stick but I would want one on here cause it just sounds better if you know how.
@@Wretched2JZ right!!.. My first experience driving one roughly 10 years ago almost gave me a Charlie Horse in my leg lol but shortly after 5 minutes of driving it I got somewhat better acquainted with the clutch pedal
Allows you to safely shift gears without removing your right foot from the gas pedal. Looks like he also has the 2 step feature which allows you to set an rpm to help with launches
