Tiago Silva, Tiago Silva will always remain a legend at CFC! Fact is Tiago is very dynamic, creative and a fantastic Team Player! At this age being as good as he is & as prolific, is a gift Chelsea received and will have to emulate! It's very sad to hear Tiago leaving but the fact is, age plays its part! Tiago, his Wife and his family will be missed!

When we first got linked to him, I was against signing him due to his age. Man was I wrong. One of the best CB's to play for this club. I really wish we were able to get him earlier in his career but what he gave us will always be special. He deserved a premier league, FA cup, and a carabao cup. So happy he played for Chelsea and at this point for his age and contribution I would consider him a Chelsea legend
If we could only bottle Thiago’s passion, mentality & dedication & let the younger players take a sip - we will indeed reach the promised land - #properchelslegend ❤
Never in my wildest imagination did I envisage a player coming to Chelsea at over 30 years of age and endearing himself to the club in such a manner. In four years, he became a favourite with fans like myself not sure whether to class him as just a cult hero or Legend. He never cheated the game and the club.
Most impressive is the fact that his partner Belle Silva stood out as one of the most popular partner of a Chelsea player who was passionate, vocal and connected to the club.

Then I saw him at corners... Man is a phenom in the air and on defense it's like he sees the game 3 seconds in the future. Sorry to see him go but I'd love for him to come back as manager!

Just some free advice to those high paid Chelsea "recruiters" - spend a little time, do some research and find some established experienced players(+29) on every line with winning ambitious and expiring contracts for free or a just for a small amount. Sign with just 1-2 years contracts. This could help some of these youngsters to not degrade and lose their potential under such pressure and perhaps even to develop.

The last two years have been too hectic for a giant of football in general.
1. Thiago should have been captain but no the owners wanted an academy boy to appease the fans when te fans really would have wanted Thiago Silva
2. He gets benched for something his wife said and then when we started winning again idiotic fans blamed Thiago because of his age only for him to come back and for them to see oh Thiago isn’t the problem. Channels like blue lions tv (nini) is apart of the issue with that.
3. Chelsea just aren’t the Chelsea Thiago got a glimpse of under Tuchels first year at Chelsea.
4. Mauricio - there’s no clear signs that Chelsea will sack the manager. Even if they do it’s Thiago 5th Manager he’s had in 4 years. Instability and for Thiago. That isn’t something he’d like to retire on.
Great career but the circumstances at Chelsea is all too much for one player.
