So funny that you both mention ideas at the completion of this project and how to make changes to the existing pattern. I do the same thing, make the pattern in its original instructions by the awesome designers and then think about how you could add other features, front flap separate using different fabric or embroidery, or reverse applique....possibilities are endless...
When you say a thinner leather… could you elaborate? I’ve been wanting to do one in leather and have no idea what thickness to use that I wouldn’t have to do anything with but sew. I do have an industrial machine. Thanks in advance! 😊

My all time favorite wallet to make and carry. I’ve done a hack on lining card slot and cutting them after sewing fabric and thin weed fabric. So fun!

Maybe 1 to 2 oz?
Another question what size magnetic double snap do you use 14mm or 18mm?
I used 18mm but 14mm would work!
So if you used waterproof canvas you did not interface those pieces right?

I used a 4!
