Pressure cooker is the only way to cook beans
Greetings from U.S.of A

Gostei da música no final!
hahaha the song Loved it
Impatissíssima é você brima!
I love Ulli's picture :)
Yes, it's hard to hit the right note with text sometimes. (I live in the land of Shakespeare... I should be better at it). But the important thing is that you liked the videos and I hope you'll keep watching and spread the word. Thank you Dabney.
Chill Dabney. I am flattered and I was just joking. Thank you very much for your time. And please keep watching.
Ninguém consegue fazer o som do 'ão' do português.
B E A N S
Cooking times varies according to beans. Black beans take more cooking time than others. If the sauce still looks too watery and the beans are still a bit gritty keep cooking them under a medium to low heat. You can't overcook them! Catch up with me on Facebook and we can discuss further.
nice video recipe. here i notice accept salt no other ingredient like turmeric, chilly or other ingredient use . . . this items not use in this dish ?
how do you get it to the right thickness?
Great video! I love this song! Pressure cooker on! Where can I get it? :)
well... in Brazil you can buy in any market... search in google for "Panela de Pressão", maybe you can find some virtual store to buy :)
Hey Nando! And the "picadinho"?! With pressuere cooker EH?! Do you htink about it?!
Abraços!
Olá meninas. Adorei o Ziriguidum. E que sotaque fofo. Vocês podem me contactar pelo site, Facebook. O youtube não deixa eu botar o email aqui. Tou esperando sua mensagem. Bjs!
Nice vegan dinner right there! Can you also suggest any spices that Brazilians use a lot in addition to the garlic & onions?
Salt, I guess lol
It is about that, there are others we use often but they are more specific to some regions and/or dishes, those two are the more general ones.
Cominho, tomilho, coentro, manjericão, noz moscada, pimenta do reino, pimenta calabresa, páprica doce, páprica picante, salsinha, cebolinha, colorau, Alecrim, manjerona, folha de louro, orégano, etc.
Those are the most used in our recipes. I didn't translate them but try Google translator and images and you will get what you need. 🇧🇷
What are the best beans to use? I never seem to get much of a sauce.left over it is still very watery and the beans seem too hard.
I will respond nine years late. Black beans are a little more watery than other beans. To have a thicker broth you can crush some grains after cooking or use some fatty protein like bacon. If you don't like meat, you can use pinto beans which are creamier.
Why does your beans look red after cooking? Mine are always the same color as raw - pitch black.
If you have been to Brazil like me, trust me... it does not test like African beans . It has it's own test.
Are the beans dry? Or canned / preserved?
You are saying to put in pressure cooker for 45 minutes... confused
Now i know how terrence hill made his beans
I would only recommend you let the beans soak in water for a day before cooking them. But that is optional.
What kind of beans did you use? And what is the green vegetable?
These are black beans. It's very common in Brazil but it might take some searching to find elsewhere. I live in the UK and most supermarkets carry it. The green vegetables are 'Couve', which is generally referred to as 'Greens' or 'Spring Greens'. It's a common accompaniment for black beans in Brazil. Look for recipes of Couve
Oi Nando! Tudo bem?
Abraços,
Érica e Rebeca.
Yummy 😋 can you just put the onions in when the beans cook instead?
Or sautee your veggies in the bean pot then add your beans
Can we use slow cooker?
Well, Feijoada is essentially a cassoulet, so it would be perfect for the slow cooker. Let me know if you try it!
Ja stavim i papriku i paradajz i zapržim sa alevu papriku i ulje i rižino brašno
Feijoada
Hmm, I'd just let them soak over the night even before cooking them in the pressure cooker.
Can i used canned black beans.
I would presumed the canned ones are either soaked or part baked. So I would do the garlic and onion spice and drop the canned beans into and cook until the water turns opaque/chocolaty.
@@nandocuca can I just sauteed the chopped onions, garlic and add the bay leaves and the canned blacks beans.
@@Portuges88 Sautee the chopped onions and garlic first, then add them to the beans. The rest you'll have to do by eye. There's not really a way to overcook the beans... So just keep going until they are really soft and the water is thick.
@@nandocuca Can I add the bay leaves when I sauteed together the onions and the garlic.
@@Portuges88 You can indeed... but they probably won't give as much flavour as when boiled for a long time. But every little helps 🙂
2 HOURS? Jes
That's if you do leave it soaking overnight. If you don't, it's gonna take at least 4 hours
Yeah... thank god I'm not trying to be humorous or clever.... HEY!! HOLD ON A MINUTE!
This is the african style of cooking beans.
What is Brazil if not a mix of beautiful cultures (African definitely has an important part on it)?
beans are native from america pretty sure they cooked them before the European came
Minha prof que me obrigou MT paia
Oi gente! I love finding more Brazilian channels! My mama comes from Bahia. Prazer!
