Beautiful Onodi. I've never seen a collegiate gymnast attempt one before.

Snowbunnybelle Its because its still a D to C combination and that it is bonus. It is very difficult to go to handstand from a release. Especially jaegers and geingers!

Anyone else annoyed by the way the commentator calls every full twisting double back bars dismount a "full out" even when it is CLEARLY a full in?

How come they never mention it when a gymnasts fails to hit the bail-to-handstand in combination? Honestly those were some of the worst bails I've ever seen. Being parallel to the bar is not hitting the handstand.

(lol seven years later) but in college gym they don't have to do the overshoot to handstand (bail handstand). They can do an overshoot as a transition as long as it's parallel to the floor. It's (currently - I don't have access to the 2012 code lol) worth a C. Bail handstand is worth a D, but if they can't hit it consistently with proper body tension, it's not worth it.
