"If It Isn't Love" (en español: "Si No Es Amor") es una canción de "New Jack Swing" y "R&B" lanzada el 7 de junio de 1988 por el quinteto estadounidense New Edition, siendo su primer sencillo para su quinto álbum de estudio, "Heart Break". La canción se convirtió en el mayor éxito del álbum antes mencionado, alcanzando el top 10 del Billboard Hot 100 de EE. UU. , Alcanzando el número 7, y alcanzó la posición 2 en la lista Hot Black Singles. Su actuación en las listas y su video musical bien recibido le valieron al quinteto su primera nominación a Mejor interpretación de R&B por un dúo o grupo con voces en los "31st Grammy Awards" en febrero de 1989. La canción y el video también se destaca por ser la presentación de su compañero, el cantante Johnny Gill como nuevo miembro del quinteto.
Escrita y producida por Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, la canción habla de un hombre que dejó una relación problemática porque no quería enamorarse, solo para descubrir que de hecho si estaba enamorado de su exnovia, y que todavía lo está. En un dilema al respecto: "si no es amor / ¿por qué me siento así / por qué se queda en mi mente?". La canción tiene un desglose memorable similar al de The Jackson 5, donde el cantante principal Ralph Tresvant admite que cometió un error y se da cuenta de que la ama, aunque su determinación es aplastada cuando sus compañeros de banda replican: "la amas, ¿qué?!", Aunque es optimista de que la recuperará.
Esta canción devolvió a New Edition al top 10 de las listas de singles (sencillos) de pop y R&B, alcanzando el número 7 y 2, respectivamente. Fueron apartados del primer lugar de la lista Hot Black Singles por la misma persona que fue expulsada del grupo solo dos años antes, su ex compañero Bobby Brown con su exitosa canción "Don't Be Cruel" escrita y producida por L.A. Reid & Babyface. El video musical de la canción mostró al grupo junto con su manager y coreógrafo Brooke Payne, en el ensayo de un concierto que tiene a la banda preparándose para subir al escenario. El video terminó con el grupo corriendo hacia el escenario y continúa en el video musical de su segundo sencillo "You're Not My Kind Of Girl" (en español: "No Eres Mi Clase De Chica").
