When I am out and about going to garage sales I always pick up View-Master glasses and reels. These were hugely popular back in the day so they turn up frequently. They bring back memories. I really enjoyed this!
That's interesting that they still published TV shows on reels in the early 2000s - I keep learning more things about View-Master! I did find out that GAF made a talking projector - but the audio just doesn't hold up like the transparencies.🤩
Watched these in the '60s. We could check them out at the library. I had sets from TV shows (Munsters, Voyage Bottom Sea etc.) Old red hot metal projector with 2d reels.
@@MyPartridgeFamilyCollection or even Chris and Tracy...it would have been really golden if it was Laurie telling it in her "sarcastic loving manner". I always liked the real family interaction between them as it was believable and not like that other TV family 🤣🤣
I only have / had the old fashioned crank view master, circa 1968 or so. I only managed to save (see: "not destroy") was my copy of the Monkees view master set.
What fun! Thanks so much! 😁
It's so fun revisiting some of these old toys! Glad you had as much fun as I did! 🤗
Thank you, I always look forward to a new video😀
Thanks friend!
Thank you for sharing your Viewmaster reels with us.
You're very welcome! Hope you enjoyed it! ☺

Thanks for watching! I too have picked up old reels at garage sales - how can we resist?!😆
Had a view master in the early 2000s! There were many shows and movies used for it. Had no idea they could be used on a projector!

As a kid, I had a bakelite, Sawyer"s View Master. I grew up in Portland, OR, and Sawyer's was a local company!
Such a great history! Love reading about the origins of some of these items. Still learning after all these years!😍Yay Portland!!
@@MyPartridgeFamilyCollection Of course, I dragged us off-topic with my comments, but glad you do what you do with the Partridge Family memorabilia!
I thought GAF made View Masters.
@@TnseWlms They did, when they bought it from Sawyer's

That's wild! I forgot you could check out reels at the library!
Wow! I had the blue talking view master and then the PF reels. I always felt cheated as I wanted their voices on the reels lol
I know!! At least have Danny narrate - that would have been gold! 😆
