- IDF 2017 National Conference session, "IgG Subclass Deficiency, Specific Antibody Deficiency (SAD) & Hypogammaglobulinemia" was presented by Dr. Ralph Shapiro, MD, and Dr. Mark Ballow, MD on June 16, 2017.
SUre wish they would use some case studies with adult onset immunodeficiencies....it's always kids....I'm 50, symptomatic for over 10 years, just diagnosed....
I’m glad I listened to the end of the Q&A because it answered the question on why should you go on replacement therapy.
I would love to learn more about these deficiencies and how they run in families. I am a man deficient in all 4 IgG subclasses along with Eosinophilia and frequent infections. My sister is deficient only in subclasses 1 & 4 with multiple non-malignant, non-infectious lung masses. I wonder what the connection is?
Can low IGG come up on their own????
Currently, this research group has said most people need routine IgG transfusions. That is how mine is supplemented // replaced.
Dr N'est !!!?!!!!!!?
