Yes I 100% agree, by the end of the first lap I was bored and trying to find things to entertain me. Luckily the marshalls helped with that. I did PB it by about 2 mins but I don't think I will be doing it again there
Hahaha its tough round there isn't it. I'm really tempted for the Sheffield half but it always falls at a tricky time. One day I'll come up to your neck of the woods for some proper hills 😎

That course was gruelling, to get even close to a PB is a triumph! Naivety got me through it. I think I'd have saved some in the tank if I'd known about some of those hills!
Welcome to my hometown... being where I run never thought of it as hilly, the other area I run is the peak district NOW that is hilly LOL, maybe you could come on a race in the peaks, then you will know hills.
Well done Andy..looks a nice course.. personally prefer an undulating course..feel less pressured to be constantly on it when on the flat...great time obviously are in good shape moving towards your main race.

I was a marshall for this race at around the 7km mark. You all did awesome conquering the Nottingham hills.

I did Holme on the same day in Nottingham. Flashbacks for how miserable the weather was!
