I always tell the front desk when making a reservation that I have a bad back, can't climb the ladders and need a bottom bunk 😉 Last time I paid $75 for a hostel in Vancouver and showers had no hot water 🤬
As an introvert who stayed in a hostel in South Korea, I had a very different but excellent experience. It was very chill, no activities or guides. Just an inexpensive place to stay. There were bunks with other people, but I didn't talk to them until the incident with the ghost. Other than that, we just kept ourselves to ourselves, and I loved it. I was traveling with my cousin, so if I had been alone, maybe I would have made an effort to engage more.
Hey Jacy, My son and I stayed in a private room at hostels in China. Perfect way to save money and able to see. My friends were surprised I didn’t want to spend lots of money at a high ticket hotels but as I told those same friends, I’d rather spend my money on the visiting and not on the hotel. Think about a private or semi private room at a hostel. I was actually crocheting while you talked today.
