Well the school I went to we learned everything from hair, skin and nails. I knew going in that I wanted to mainly focus on hair but the good thing about the industry is you can do whatever you want. If you get tired of one you can always do the other

Wait, wait.. do you have to know about makeup, hair, and nails before you go into cosmetology cause I don’t know anything about that even though I’m a girl.. and the reason why I wanted to do cosmetology is to learn about it since it’s going to be my first time… hopefully that makes sense?..
I feel bad for saying this. I don’t know how to do hair. And the looks that I get from black women it really hurts. I don’t know how to braid at all. I am open to learning.
