Vileplume being based on some massive plump flower and suddenly pulling out these blade-based moves is hilarious. It'd be like happening on the real Rafflesia and suddenly it pulls out a knife and stabs your thigh.

On that turn with torkoal vc scrafty, is there any actual reason for not clicking rapid spin? It would've removed 3 layers of LEGOs, and the lava plume you used instead did basically nothing

Oh my gosh Vileplume surprised me 3 times this match: Solar Blade one shotting the RK9, living the Fake Out, and having enough natural speed to outspeed the Scrafty! What a champ!!
Seeing Hitmonlee, Vileplume, Ninetails, Victreebell, Arbok, etc all those Gen 1 homies get such a spotlight and so many buffs is so nice. Might make a Gen 1 team solely for online matches tbh

My life is happiness. Vileplume is the only Pokémon I remember from my first playthrough, and I always use it in a playthrough. Definitely in my top 3 favorite mons, glad he's getting some love.

It's so nice to see plume back. I normally focus on Special Vileplume setting up with HP sapping moves, poison stab, stat move (poison or sleep) and, maybe dazzling gleam.

Why swords dance over Growth? Growth raises both Attack and Special Attack by two stages in the sun, could allow for a more mixed offense approach.
