@@poggest_of_them_all If i'm remembering correctly I remember someone said that Diluc and his father were attacked, and kaeya (who was supposed to protect them) failed to arrive on time to save Diluc's father which is why he quit the knights due to umm guilt I think. But that guy said that they were step-brothers, not blood related. He was adopted by diluc"s father if i'm not wrong. Meh I don't remember the story anymore but I think it was something like that. Forgive me if i'm wrong I'm wrong though

But he felt very guilty, because he was a spy. His biological father abandoned Kaeya at the age of 4 in front of the winery telling him he was their last hope. Then Diluc's father adopted him. At that night, when the incident happen, Kaeya confessed to Diluc about his identity. A fight followed after. At that time, Kaeya got his vision. Well if you're interested to learn more about their past, go read the manga. It's very interesting.

Yes I know how that feels. I lost my cat too. But you know trying to act strong when someone is near then crying alone at night when everyone is asleep hurts so much. But can't tell them 'cus they tell me to not get too attached to him. But how can I do that when she was the only reason that I could keep it together. But... I have one thing ı am holding right now. I lost someone close to me and they died because of my ignorance. My mother says she loves it when I tell her I love her, but to be honest, it's empty. Ever since they died, nothing feels like it's worth it anymore. I cry, and I can't let my family see me. I won't, and I can't. The want for them to mean something to me is there, but to be honest," I love you." feels like a mockery of my relationship I had with them before they died. I know nothing will ever replace it or even come close. I've told them about my dead loved one but they brush it off, tell me to move on, that it was temporary and that I'm in the present, here, now. Where I belong... but I don't, and I never have.
