Honestly it amazes me and I've only been into K-pop for a year and a half. SHINee was my first K-pop group, so the idea that their songs are "old" kind of shocks me-- "34 hours" and "full moon" too, those are so iconic that I guess I feel like they don't age.
I think the title "Old Kpop Random Dance Challenge" is allude to or referring to the songs, not the artist..

old school kpop taught me how to dance, specifically Orange caramel, 4minute, aoa, sistar, and f(x). I try learning from new girl groups, but it doesn't feel the same to me 😥 still love their music tho
The biggest difference is that with old ones, choreography often includes powerful, full-range-of-motion movement, or according to Heechul "fancy moves". With new ones, they go more with the feel of the move, focusing more on detailed movements, also the formation.

When kpop was actually good and wasn’t just a music genre
I've stopped listening to K-Pop 3 years ago and I feel great knowing I'm out of all fanbases. It was a really unhealthy place for me to be in, so I'm glad I left. But sometimes I miss those days. I still have all the memories and I will never forget them. :)
I stop listening kpop since 2017 end. Yeah,this is why when people play song kpop song with range 2017 end. I 50% don't recognize it and now if not TikTok trend I never know kpop song at all 😂

we used to have these cds that had kpop songs, i was three around that time and i used to play it again and again, i still remembered genie from snsd being a apart of the playlist. then i started stanning groups when i was six lmao. i had this classmate of mine who was also a fan of kpop (still seven at this time) and we used to dance to various of kpop songs, apink, girls day, snsd, exo, super junior. ugh i just love them.
then my family and i moved out and i haven't seen her since, but we still dm eachother. now i recently turned twelve during april thirteen, and i can't believe i grew with kpop since i was three. i feel old seeing these at the random play dance, even tho i'm still twelve lmao.
