The fact that Glitchtrap is confused by what happens in the trailer makes me laugh since he is behind all this and that he does not recognize Vanny is something questionable-
One thing I have to say: It is impossible for Michael afton to be nightmare foxy or any nightmare animatronic because the nightmare animatronics were just a illusion created by his father William to scare him from sneaking out to Freddy's. This has been proven by game theory . Therefore the nightmare animatronics technically don't even exist so it doesn't make any sense show them as a character.
I was referring to the crying child but there are some theories that Michael is the crying child because in the end of FNAF 4 it says "I will put you back together" which hints at the fact Michael may literally be a robot. This is a pretty reasonable assumption because it would explain how he survived being scooped in Sister Location. Still though there's no real name for who scared Michael so you just have to assume that it's his older brother.
