First of all, GREAT artwork! I am beginning in my pastel work, and was curious about your finished pieces...how do you fix the pastel to the board to keep from smudging? Do you use a fixative at the end of any kind? Thanks in advance and thanks for showing your art!
Thank you very much! ☺️ I don’t use fixative, I use pastelmat board as a surface that holds the pigment extremely well and doesn’t need fixative as long as you frame the portrait under glass and framing Matt.
