Timothee Chalamet, Zendaya, Oscar Isaac descend on the Venice red carpet for the premiere of 'Dune'

Venice saw a bevy of Hollywood's finest grace the red carpet on Friday (03 SEPT. 2021) night for the premiere of the long-awaited new version of "Dune."
Timothy Chalamet, Zendaya, Oscar Isaac, Josh Brolin, Rebecca Ferguson and the film's director Denis Villeneuve were joined on the red carpet by Isabelle Huppert, Adriana Lima, Stellan Skarsgård and Dave Bautista.
Fans clamored to see the stars though they had restricted views due to COVID-19 protocols. One of the film's stars_ Chalamet_ made an attempt to greet them, leaning over the back wall of the red carpet area.
Based on Herbert's 1965 science fiction classic, "Dune" is a heroic tale of a rising duke, intergalactic power struggles, a precious spice and lethal spaceworms.
"Dune" is set to be released on Oct. 22, simultaneously in theaters and on HBO Max, like all Warner Bros. films in 2021. Villeneuve has expressed his hope that audiences will seek out the theatrical experience.
