I have a 2011 BMW 528i, I have been driving it for 3 years now. I got it at 98k miles for just under 10k and have put 30,000 miles on it and it has been super reliable. I had the same issue with the coolant and got that fixed as well as a few other things, all in all highly recommend this car and I plan on driving it as long as possible.

I am the original owner of 2011 528i. In my opinion this is the best year and model because it is naturally aspirated and does not have a turbo. I have less then 5,000 miles on the car. I purchased it new with very few options because the options are the things that break. I dont care about heated seats or high end stereo. But thats just me and my opinion. One other thing that you have to look out for is that you have to make sure that the rubber seals inside the doors that surround the regulators have not lost their adhesion to the door. this usually becomes a problem if you have had any window regulator work done and the seal was not replaced properly. I have not personally had this problem but many people have and it could flood your car when it rains hard. Be sure and hydrate your leather seats with a good quality conditioner and do it often.

Typical bmw problem. Learn how to fix it yourself you’ll save way more money. If you pay them to do it you’ll eventually have to pay them again. Bmw parts are made out of cheap plastic and crapppy motorized pumps. So if the weather is hot like Arizona or Nevada or if your a bmw driver someone who enjoys the torque and speed than your going to get a radiator leak from either the hoses or the bolts that will need to get replaced it’s a common issue same with the oil pan gasket leak, fuel pump, water pump, thermostat, alternator , belt , starter, battery, worse one that most people can’t do it them selves is the crankshaft sensor usually goes bad after 5-7 years your car will start and turn off at every stop so once all that happens you’ll have to make the decision is it worth it ? I’ve owned 2 Toyotas for longer than 15 years all I ever did to it were normal tune ups but when I got a bmw everything’s I listed had to be done in 2 years every 2 to 3 years theirs always a new or recurring problem probably be my first and last bmw I will ever buy. Just lease it if you still want it. Don’t buy it you’ll regret it .

It doesn't matter because yours won't be the same as his so it's pretty irrelevant
