Her voice is not irritating or with too much high frequencies. She has a very nice and unique voice! The problem is with audio production. The production is not very well done, not tailored to her voice. The sound has to much HF, her voice's reverb doesn't have HF dump/cut and the voice needs to be warmed with tube pre-amps (or an equivalent plugin).

Attended their show yesterday, they opened Therion here in Portugal and they sounded ok. The singer is nice and the whole band really easy going. I enjoyed!

All the best bands today find their inspiration and in many cases THEIR SOUND, from 80s bands. THATS NOT A BAD THING> the 80s ROCKED!!!!!!!!!
thought os music from the past, either 50s or 80s, no idea why
50s was Fats Domino etc sound. 60s was Jan & Dean + Peter Paul & Mary. 70s was disco. electric rock, + R&B.
My comment regarding oldschool was simply totally 80s. Think MTV, BIG GUITARS, VIXEN, PATTY SMYTH, HEART.

the guitar solo is very well composed with interesting melody lines weaving through un-typical chord progressions.
I actually came across this AWESOME New York band over a year ago when I went to find undiscovered talent in the US Power Metal department; WOW I was Amazed by their sound & how they presented themselves
Part of the reason is unlike other female fronted bands their lead singer is also an accomplished Musical Theater actress, and that combination definitely works
