i went on a deep dive on Glamoth/Swarm lore immediately after this animation dropped to find out a few things. I found out that the fall of Glamoth is NOT during the ancient Swarm Disaster. This is just a remant of the remaining existing swarm. It’s similar to how Argenti was ALSO fighting against a swarm mother when he ran into us on the Express in his companion quest. So with his companion quest in mind, we know for sure that the Swarm still exist but they lurk in various parts of the universe still trying to fulfill the will of Tazzyronth.
NOW my theory on firefly here: her “dream of a scorched earth” is given symbolic imagery of a tree here. and after the tree imagery disappears, Firefly has immense power strong enough to destroy the remains of Glamoth by herself. She was also glowing green even after out of her suit while floating in space so that also had me thinking…What if this symbolism is ACTUALLY her being gazed at by Yaoshi?
This was why I had to do this Swarm Disaster and Glamoth deep dive because Yaoshi was NOT an existing aeon during the Swarm Disaster and the following theory would’ve fallen flat.
Things to consider:
-No other clones were capable of using the Complete Combustion State
-Firefly’s “scorched earth” dream is about LIFE being born in a world where there is none (which is what Yaoshi is capable of)
-She has NOT yet died to her Entropy Loss Syndrome even though we know she has lived relatively long with her long hair as proof of that (from her Myriad Celestia)
-In the 2.2 story when we go to the conversation with her and Blade in the car she once stated that she “would never wish for eternal life” which could be a hint that she knows she’s been given an extended life by Yaoshi similar to Blade
-INGAME, when Firefly uses her ult to go into Complete Combustion State (which if we assume this form IS imbued by the power of the Abundance) she HEALS herself.
-Complete Combustion state (and her body when she was floating in space) glows a similar green to the giant tree in the Luofu.
Agreed. Even if it's not Abundance, the "tree moment" was absolutely her becoming a Pathstrider. Welt mentions in her showcase that the green transformation/powerup is due to Firefly's own willpower, and a requirement to be a Pathstrider, regardless of Path, is to have an extraordinarily strong will.
Also similar colors to LUOCHA'S attacks 👁️👄👁️
Firefly deserves to be your silly little Penacony tour guide as she went through so much already even before joining the stellaron hunters. The fact that clones have one purpose but to defend Glamoth and Titania and still retain loyalty to both even when they do not exist is tragic. I feel like Firefly still feels that lack of freedom when following Elio's script but hopefully her third "death" could simply mean the death of SAM as she will no longer be bound by any responsibilities and will have the freedom to choose her path. I wish that is what she'll gain after Penacony.

The one Firefly is fighting was a Swarm Mother which Propagate at a insane rate and is basically a fully matured True Sting
At the moment, i'm being a huge fun of Oroboros Aeon who opened THEIR mouth and swallowed numerous heirs of Tayzzronth Aeon along with countless worlds and stars

Animation shows how strong Argenti is, who survived from swarm mother alone and how crazy Ruan Mei is, who tried to revive a swarm emanator

I researched Firefly before this animation was posted, and I honestly got the impression that SH Trailblazer was the one who found Firefly in her Cryopod and recruited her. I guess I was wrong. I was kind of hoping that we would see Stellaron Hunter Trailblazer in this animation.

Glamoth Cavalry Knights' destructive and explosive firepower are so high we can see the battlefield full of gigantic explosion from fighting, yet they still ended up getting annihilated by the swarm. It really gives me the disaster the swarm did to the universe. No wonder Xianzhou really hates Yaoshi.

The giant bug isn't a emanator but a true stinger that we fight in su. A true emanator it's one capable to destroy a galaxy easily
Galaxy I don’t know or maybe the most powerful one tho normal emanator of propagation would have destroyed easily the planet in one go or even stars or solar system.
2/3 of the universe was destroyed during the swarm disaster and the emanator is big enough to destroy a star and later using its shattered piece for creating more offspring

Giant bug is simply a mature True Sting, Emanators are MUCH stronger then that considering we know they destroy stars and use them as nests for the Swarm.

After watching this animation short, this solidified my determination to pull for Firefly... no matter the cost

Even 1000x more sad when you realize the one what walked up and died in front of Firefly, was the one from the Myriad Celestia Trailer with the glasses, that commented on her hair and said the bow looked nice. Firefly literally lost everything she knows. And if you read the Glamoth planar ornament set, it gives lore on both the orb and the rope, and a shocker of what they were ACTUALLY fighting for.
You were one the few that realized the swarm was still around after the explosion. And it was Firefly that finished them all off with her final move to destroy the planet.
Loved your reaction, was pure to the emotion of the animation. Deserving of a sub, for sure.

The other SAM (who gave Firefly the detonator) during the fight said that they're going for the "swarm mother", so it's most likely a general of the Aeon Tayzzyronth or something. Definitely not the same level of an Aeon if it could be killed with a single explosion.
it's not, you can see what the real aeon looks like in SU
No, Tazzyronth was already being sealed by Qlipoth and other Aeons at the time of this Animation
Maybe that is the equivalent of phantylia for the swarm.
it is not even the emanator of Tazzy, the swarm mother in this animation is exact one in the SU version, the SU version was scale down in term of gameplay, the real size of it is in this animation.

What Ruan Mei trying to revive actually wasn't even just another one.
It's friggin' copy of Scarakabaz, the Emanator of the Swarm. Imagine ordinary mob of those can multiply on the Astral Express less than a few minutes. What can an emanator do (even though it was the inferior copy of it, the existence of it already made specific specialization Swarm type around the Space station)
According to her calculation, it won't live long outside the incubation pod (about 50-ish seconds) YET she wishes that her calculation wrong.
She tried to create an even worse thing than the swarm mother: a freaking Tazzy's Emanator. Good thing she failed
