With the included rubber O-ring, those Type 675 hearing aid batteries perfectly fit inside the battery chamber of a Canon F-1 classic. This makes them a perfect replacement for the old PX625 mercury batteries that are no longer available.
The batteries that are included are based on Zink-Air and don't distort the measurement of the light meter, since they offer a constant ~ 1.4 V current until complete discharge.

is it safe not to remove the lr44 when the camera is not in use (especially for a long time)? because my camera battery cover is broken so it can't be opened

I saw in the videos that they use 625A batteries with 1.5V for FT/FTb models etc. and it works without overvoltage.
So what battery should I use?

Not sure what your question is, but as far as I know the Ftb used Mercury batteries with 1,35V, so I would use hearing aid batteries (e.g. the ones we sell) for accurate metering.

Question man , i have a canon ftb I’ve put on this battery with the o ring on it . Would i have to adjust my iso down a stop or is it accurate not to move and leave at iso the film is asking for . Hope to hear back from you soon man .

The batteries have the proper voltage so you do not have to compansate with the ISO (if your light meter works the way it should).

apologies if it's obvious - but why does this camera need a battery? I thought it was mechanical

Hey, it works mechanically but needs a battery for the light meter. Greetings Vlad

There is a prism finder for F1 that has shutter priority with some lenses and a special lever, but it has other bateries. And there is another finder buster that adds light for setings in viewfinder and longer exposure times, but also with other batteries.
