@@PouringYourHeartOut It can be. I normally don't mind if there are some clear spaces. The white works it way through anyway. We are using resin inks for the technique.

I think leaving the live edge clear gives it a lot more sparkle. But it is magical nonetheless.

I like the gold nuggets in the middle, they really add to the flower effect, whole thing looks like a captured/smooshed blossom, which my description makes it sound rubbish, but it's really not! It is a glorious outcome, well done :D

Love dusting that live edge! In this one, the gold in the center draws the eye perfectly! Can't wait to see some chameleon dusted around that edge, I'm confident the resulting sparkle will knock us out. Another stunner! So gorgeous!!! ~~~^..^
Reminds me of climbing roses. That’s the colors I see in many wild roses around here. I’d still put gold in the middle but in small dots to resemble the stamen. ❤ this piece.

Hey Julie! It looks like a pretty Spring flower...would been fun to see how a center would look without the glass in the center. The live edge is so bright and just pops! I bet the gorgeous chameleon powders would be amazing on the live edge as well...an iridescent pearl, pink or purple one with matching resin colors would be beautiful. I like the colors, I would have liked to see no-swirl and I really prefer a clear edge. Clear seems to sparkle more. Or a dappled edge?

I thought it turned out gorgeous!!! The color might not have moved quite so much on there own due to using the torch on it…. I have found that it almost cooks the color drops…. Hope this helps… But beautiful as usual!!!

Not my favorite colors but the effect is gorgeous. I think the reason you lost so much of the yellow was because you swirled from the red into the yellow even though you knew the rose color was moving and the yellow wasn't. Next time try adding less rose and more yellow plus swirling from the yellow into the rose color. I know it would probably feel weird swirling "backwards" but that would also help push the rose color more towards the edges without needing to add more color. Either way, well done! 😄👍

I was wondering if you had a small resin object, like the whale you made or flowers or a butterfly you have made, then did an acrylic paint pour and let it dry some, then put the resin piece in, would it dry n stay? I love both pouring n resins and thought the combo would be cool n more 3d. Any advice would be appreciated. Thx, Michelle
I feel like you’ve gotten into a formula with these. That’s fine, except sometimes it feels like you to things because it’s what comes next, without looking at what you’ve got.
This was a gorgeous sun initially, and just needed time to react and move.
I love your work, and the results are generally beautiful. I just don’t want you to get formulaic and start doing things because that’s what’s next, without evaluating what you’ve already got, and having some patience.
The lighter yellowy part right in the middle looks like a fish like a goldfish or something. If there was no gold bits in the middle covering up the middle of the fish I think that would’ve been cool.

Still think this turned out beautiful. Can you clarify for me. I thought this design you had to use alcohol inks and that is what spreads where colourants won’t. Am I wrong? Thank you for testing these things for us. I love your channel
