Julius: Ive got almost 3 whole armies, some of the strongest people to ever live and even some I revived protecting me, hell even my boy manfroy is here. What could possibly go wrong?
Julia: Angry naga noise
@James D'Agostino yeah Julius, for sure nothing will go wrong
"I have 3 armies."
"We have an Ares."
Manfroy: Sorry my lord but I am obligated to fulfill Kaga’s mind control fetish.
@@xuanathan “I have 12 dead lords.”
“We have a Larcei.”
"I have an empire"
"We have a Ced"
I love the fact that this is a remake of the prologue chapter
It all comes full circle
I also love that the prologue and the final chapter are both centered around Chalphy, with the map simply stretched in different directions.
With a little chapter 6 twist
chapter 5 is also a remake of the prologue chapter btw
It's a medley of the game, I gotta say I love when games do that
I have come to honor my boy - the random dracoknight that took a Meteor from Julius like a champ, saving Seliph, who I forgot got Hel'd by one of the Deadlords. Thanks for making my night, friend.
LOL
Dracoknights possess some serious balls to barge in to the standoff between the Crusaders and the Deadlords.
@@kaanaltntas3966 don't mess with someone who got nothing to lose, especially someone with a holy spear capable of destroying your very existence just because you hit his sister too hard
@@TheCheeseMovesSideways Arion, I can understand - he IS a Crusader. But what in the world were the five mooks besides him doing for crying out loud?! That's exacly the kind of loyalty Seliph requires.
Gotta love how this extended version still shorter than the map
Could listen to this whole 3 times and I still wouldn't be done this map
Useless Trivia: Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War was going to have a 3rd part, which would explain all the incest and child hunts. Due to time and hardware constraints, It was ultimately scrapped.
That was already explained. Wasn’t the third part going to be about the first gen characters
@@leifster7762 It was gonna be Azel starting his own army and it was gonna explain the fates of some Gen 1 characters. I think Lachesis, Ayra, and Lex were all turned to stone and Azel's army was going to free them in the original script but it was cut.
Aighnui
Wasn’t Azel’s army only part of one of Kaga Dream Scenarios?
I don’t recall this meant for the game
@@leifster7762 oh really? I thought that Azel's Army was just the third part and it was scrapped because of hardware and time limits. I think the stone sculptures of some gen 1 characters even show up at the end of Thracia 776's chapter 4 as a subtle hint to it.
I found the link : czcams.com/video/grsiUhtsCvs/video.html
Maybe we'll get that third part in the remake?
This is the only chapter where forseti can die
*hears music*
YEAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!
*Arion and Ishtar appears*
FUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!
セリスSeliph and the stupid 3 falcoknights that come with Ishtar oh my god xD
Arion appearing is a good thing, his generic guys make great Meteor fodder for Julius after you turn them green
@@rexmon2592 Don't forget those 3 Falcon Knights come equipped with leg rings making them more scarier, this is probably the only instance in FE where the Class it promotes from which is Pegasus Knight is on the same tier as Dragon Master but with Great Resistance and not to be taken lightly and don't forget thier Earth Swords.
Brandon Williams thats literally what my comment said
Luckily my altena killed 2 of the 3 falcoknights with a 44% hit on enemy turn, the other one got 2 crits on her, Tena missed though.
In which Seliph and Julia murder the Inbred Dark God of Evil and Child Murder.
In which Julius cusses out Manfroy for trying to put Julia out in the open, Coirpre dies, the Valkyrie Staff blows up in Arthur's face, Ced makes a microtransaction and Brian gets killed over a football team.
In which everyone gets pelted by harmless, albiet annoying, long range spells, Ced/Larcei destroy entire armies, Johan is proven to be 100% useless, Oifey continues to show he's not bench-fodder yet, Ishtar wounds Ced but is slain, Febail slays the usurper of his homeland, Manfroy gets everything he deserves and more, Julia is lost in the woods only to be rescued by Seliph and then proceeds to destroy all twelve Deadlords on her own, and Seliph slays Julius in a long, brutal, yet climatic battle
GypsySprite Because where's the fun in Julius going down like a bitch?
@@darthrevan4748 Ced makes a microtransaction is one of the funniest statements I have ever read.
In which Seliph and his army takes two castle, Arion back-stabb you and tries to suddenly conquer your main castle and you sent Altena hopping she reach him but she doesn't so Coirple dies because one of the Draco Knights along him killed him, the three pegasus sisters with random infinite Earth Sword uses appears and they don't fucking die unless you have Lester or Favall, Julia appears and fucking kills your army, you reach Manfroy but then get killed by some Hel Shaman that was still alive and by last and none less, you get your ass beaten to the 12 Death Knights and Sigurd alongside Julia kills Julius for being a dick and then, Naga ruins the day once again
If you're watching this today (May 14, 2018) y'all know Julius Loptous and the 12 Deadlords have risen in Fire Emblem Heroes.
Yep.
MegamanNG Huh thought I recognized you from somewhere.
Ace Attorney? Kingdom Hearts? Can you guess because that's all I'm ever known for now.
MegamanNG No. I recognize you because of the name and the profile pic. Sorry if it downs you to hear that those 2 games are really the only things people know you for nowadays...
I do appreciate it. It's that my channel has been being real sluggish and I've tried everything to have it grow again but to no avail. Either way I do appreciate it. I mostly come by on Fire Emblem videos since I am a fan of the series since Blazing Sword.
Having Tinni take back Freege was by far the most satisfying part of this chapter to me. After everything she, Arthur, and Tailtyu went through, she took everything back in the face of adversity.
Also paired her with Seliph so that was nice, too. :)
Lmao Friege was my favorite part too, I had Tinny hit Hilda from afar with a Silence staff (needed the magic ring to get her up to 32 magic) before wiping out the barons, and then had Tinny and Arthur switch to swords to make this more satisfying, then had them, Larcei, Ced, Altena, Fee, Patty, and even Lene and Coirpre lynch Hilda slowly over her 5 turns of being magic-less while the rest of the army dealt with the bow knights that were supposed to be her genius ambush from behind
Tailtiu was popping the beer bottle in the afterlife the whole time I swear
The fact that this plays JUST before the final map of the Thracia Tempest Trials is soooo nice
God I hope we can one day hear the Echoes treatment of this theme
Looks like it will. The guy who predicted Fire Emblem Engage also said that Fire Emblem 4 remake is coming out as well. Since he predicted the avatars for Fire Emblem Engage, we can be sure he's right about the remake for Fire Emblem 4 coming out soon.
Came here after hearing the modern interpretation of this from Engage.
Same dude, one can dream
I absolutely love the flute part.
Great music to make two in-bred twins fight to the death to.
Julia: Remember, 'brother'. The forces of good will always triumph, because we get the best toys in Act 3.
Genealogy/Seisen no Keifu is my absolute favorite Fire Emblem. The only game in the series where you really feel like you’re conducting a massive battle against an enemy army. You have to worry about your equipment, supplies, formations and positioning so none of your characters get killed. After Seisen no Keifu and Thracia 776, it feels like the series went few steps backwards and went to a different direction. The games are still good. I liked Echoes and 3 of the GBA games are solid. (Awakening’s plot was pretty crappy compared to Genealogy of the Holy War) Nothing can beat Genealogy. It is absolutely the best game in the series. If only it had a remake that could flesh out the characters a bit more and update the game. If Nintendo considers remaking this I hope they stay true to the story and leave nothing out from the original game, and maybe add extra dialogue to it. This game would likely get an M rating but I honestly wouldn’t mind that, people need to know what type of game they are playing and be able handle it, Yes I know about the gigantic maps and no trading but trading would be overpowered, you either love it or hate it.
I love this game too, but there's so much they'd have to modernize. Namely, pursuit and critical. I get the feeling if they DO return it, it will be a joint game of it and Thracia 776, like how Mystery of the Emblem was. The actual map is a to scale map of the continent, and, compared to back then, it wouldn't take much room up at all on a switch cart, and not to mention Genealogy has very few characters. If released as is, it would be too short (which is weird to say since I clocked in 68 hours into the game and it was worth it).
I do feel the series took steps back, but I think only with Fates, which I TRULY dislike. Awakening was a return to the not as serious Archenea saga, which I liked a lot. It took itself serious enough and it was even humorous at times. I found that IS saw the success and grabbed all the things THEY thought was good in it and put it into Fates, which was exactly the wrong stuff. People claim localization was why it was so bad, but apparently, even in its original game in Japan, it was terrible. Echoes was by far, mechanically, one of my favorites. Its one of my favorites overall, but mechanically, it added so much that I loved it, but I see why it sold so poorly.
I actually want to see something different than a remake or western release. I want to see Judgral get the Awakening treatment; I want to see what happens to Grannvale many generations after the Last Holy War. I want to see what became of the many noble houses, as in some endings, you can see entire houses and bloodlines end. What became of the holy weapons? Due to setting alone, it would return to the more serious and gritty feel that comes with it
Spencer Durette Personally I tried Awakening but it didn’t click with me and I’m definitely not trying Fates. Those 2 games are the “FanService/Waifu Emblem” Games and that gets pretty redundant after a while. Fire Emblem is not about Tits or You as an Avatar marrying every character. The Avatar is another thing that wasn’t handled really well. The Avatar in New Mystery of the Emblem is decent and not the center of Attention lol.
Don't play fates. If you want a good modernized fire emblem, play Shadows of Valentia. I hope Inteligent Systems learned from their mistakes with Fates...
I agree how the avatar shouldn't be the focus, although in Awakening it was different because you weren't exactly the focus until the end, and only because it was "either you give yourself up and end the cycle or the actual main character finishes the job but the cycle begins again". You, like... I think the canon name is Kris? Essentially wipe yourself from existence. The difference is less out of making the main character look good and rather for betterment of all
Spencer Durette
Currently playing through Echoes as we speak and I’m loving it! All I have to say is you should play it for yourself to fully understand and grasp how different this game is from the others. Oh and no weapon triangle in this game, I do also love no weapon durability, 5 range archers, magic and skills that cost HP to use. Yes this game could be looked at as a Black Sheep compared to others. But Intelligent Systems were trying something new. A lot of sequels tried something new Castlevania 2, Zelda 2 Adventure of Link, Super Mario Bros 2 (I know it’s still Doki Doki Panic), Metroid 2, Starfox 2. Megaman 2 was the lucky sequel that everyone loves and it improved upon its predecessor however I do like charging my buster and sliding those are welcome additions.
they could never do that because the game mechanics of the 2 are so different and it would also make no sense because fe 5 takes place in between chapter 6-7 of the second generation
I jus realized that in every sense of the word Seliph is the Scion of Light. He has the holy blood of both Baldur and Naga, two crusaders which are associated with light and Tyrfing is meant to be a holy blade. His combo of blood is perfect for the title given to him which I really appreciate.
This game, oddly enough, has a lot in common with Halo. Halo starts off on the Pillar of Autumn and ends there while FE4's first and final maps overlap with each other (and their BGM's share a theme with each other).
SELIPH HAS HIS LEGENDARY ALT AT LONG LAST
Can’t wait to hear a legendary remix of this in the possible FE4 remake
Well no FE4 remake yet, but fret not. We got a cool remix in FE Engage
"I Bear the light!"
Theme of Seliph and Ares destroying final chapter.
Eugen Bogdanovsky this final chapter seems like it will only take 10 mins at first but actually takes so long. I ended up just not moving most of my infantry units because it took way too long for them to reach the final castle.

LEGENDARY SELIPH GANG RISE UP
I don’t got legendary Julia but I got her “fallen” alt
Anyone here from the Tempest Trials?
Yoooooooo
Same.
No, but the tempest trial made me play the game. I got Sigurd first actually, and then did his tempest trial, and then I got curious and looked up his game. Saw how it was so different and unique mechanically and decided to delve for a copy of it. Got one, and I fell in love with the game. If you haven't played it, I reccomend it 100%. Just be careful looking...
Spencer Durette I would like to see how they would remake the game.
Elizabeth K Blanco update visuals add voicing like echoes hopefully and the only other element I might want updated would be the pawn shop but otherwise it’s completely fine except for a bit of enemy balancing on the final chapter but if u haven’t played it the game is very different than most Fe games and is very fun to play so I would highly recommended it
Trial of the Holy War
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, FREAKING FINALLY.
LEGENDARY SELIPH GANG RISE UP
475 orbs, Let's fucking gooooooo
RISE UP
Bittersweet
It has been a long time my boi, finally your Legendary alt is here!
Each chapter music in this game goes pretty well with the chapter it is on I think. Though I won't lie I am not a huge fan of chapter nine's though, but it's still fitting for the chapter ("trudging along" feel). An uplifting "good guys on the path to victory" theme is fitting for the final chapter.
Legendary Seliph, let's fucking gooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Sigh..... It ended where it all began.
L!Seliph, anyone?
Yup In feh already
I will just pass cross this level and play this game again because he is perfect

BRAVE SELIPH GANG RISE ONCE MORE
This comment is right above your legendary Seliph comment 😭🙏
This played in the reveal Genealogy’s very first alt.
A legendary alt indeed
And now with another Legendary alt ♥️♥️
Keep in mind I've never read music theory so I might be talking out my ass, but I know the bass has 3 notes which I like to think represent Seliph Julia and Julius so to contrast the brighter end; the scion of light, with the deeper end; the scion of darkness.
And the main melody would represent their parents as it starts from Sigurd & ending with Deirdre
This sounds like it could be used as a route music for pokemon
Taran Abel Victory Road, maybe?
Playing this in an emulator, I speak from experience that this song is still great at 2x speed. Especially around the 1:00 mark.

Not gonna lie but I prefer the previous chapter music because this music doesn't get me hyped up like the previous chapter music. This was just a toral let down.
Jaune Dragneel
I personally really like this theme. It’s so hopeful and it’s contrast to Chapter 5’s theme makes it greater. To me,it feels like your army is really forging history and shaping the world as you fight your way through Grannvale’s houses and their elite brigades. It gives off this sense of finality and ultimateness.
