NHL 94 was my game made alot of money and assist's Chelios Roenick Smith ED BELFOUR Brain Noonan too bad I think Eric Dazè definitely could be wrong and Damm Bob Probert missed that game by three/six months after joining the Hawks

What do you think of when Scott Foster had to play for the Hawks in goal for like 8 minutes or so in the third period and the Jets. Foley had a couple of save call gems in that game. "SAVE BY FOSTERRRrrr"!! I will not ever get tired of that call.

This is a perfectly "feel good" sports theme song. Have loved it all my life.
The very first memory of this song is when I was listening on a transistor radio, hearing Lloyd Pettit doing the play by play. His call was distinct, "A SHOT AND GOOOOAAALLL!!!" or "REBOUND SHOT AND A GOOOOALLL!!" I miss that kind of call because they just say he shoots he scores, what they are scoring is GOALS Dammit!!!

Song was released just before the 1969-70 season, I remember they did a little promo piece on it in between periods of an early season game that year on CH 9. I still love it, but for those who think it sounds dated, it is! It's 45 years old!

Even cooler is that my second cousins cousin played for them for over a decade. I'm the only Chicago fan in all of my family and friends.

I'm a Wings fan tried and true, but it's great the Hawks are in the Conf. Finals. I love this song which I first heard in the late 60s when I went to Northwestern. WGN Radio used it as the opening for their Hawks broadcasts. Wings vs. Hawks---how cool--and retro--is that??!!
