Always enjoy seeing someone absolutely driven by what they love and putting everything into it. Jim is all chips in and always has been.

What a refreshing and informative film, which is completely different from the norm. Jim is different gravy. Ive fished with him and many anglers for over 30 years, from all over the country. He is on a different level to most and watching them 50 minutes of film proves that, in simple terms. Listen and learn from one of the UK's finest, of what it takes, plus the huge effort to continually track down some of the best carp in the country....

Totally get Jim’s thinking behind things and so agree it’s all about getting somthing in my mind and acting on it preparing myself and heading to that lake in Hunter mode and will not settle till I no they are being hunted massive buzz
One lesson I've taken from uncle Jim more than any other is the importance of good grub.

I like Jim, he was at a big fish-in thing i went to at Fen Drayton years ago and chatted to him a few times here and there by text etc.
Controversial guy and not everyones cup of tea but he was spot on with me and i like how he goes about things.

Had the pleasure of spending time and fishing with Jim on a water close to me a few years back, he had nothing but advice, kindness, generosity and amazing stories for me. The best to ever do it in my opinion, just an absolutely relentless carp catching machine! Big love Jimbo!

Spot on about fishing where you shouldnt i fish a reserve/private lake every summer carp up to 30 ive had 1 at 22lb and a few nice 18s 16s all on bread dipped in gew

it dont sound too bad does it...my pb was hooked all night without a single bleep on new delkims i was fishing tight line and i woke up packed away brought rod in...and 1 of them had my new pb on lol it was sat there all night in the deep hole trying to get the hook out
was actually biggest in lake too lol was only a 6" blowback in -7 degrees

This dude is 100% right why the fuck would use marker rods spod rods ect sheeple buying stuff and using stuff for no reason other then being told thats what to do i always set a freeline rod up size 8 with a dog buiscuit or soft bait so as soon as i get to a lake im instantly walking round looking at spots where nobody can be arsed to go id never spod or marker rod a spot whats the fucking point in that glad im not the only person on that kinda page

This guy has a lot of downsides, sponsors etc, but no one can deny the effort and skill he has as an angler.
To me he always came across as a nice fella with a sense of humor. Swapping sponsors? We should blame the industry. Not easy making a living going fishing.
Can't stand Jim Shelley so this is one episode of Cypography I won't be watching .
