2012 Toyota Camry Bouetooth connectivity issues

- My Bluetooth in the car will not connect with any devices anymore. On the screen it looks like it is frozen. Have had the car for 5 years and this is the first time having this issue. It's not even discoverable on my devices anymore
My touch screen doesn't even work 😒toyota should definitely do a recall on their 2012-2015 radios.

Factory reset it. Press and hold setup and turn the headlights on and off until the screen turns white. Then there’s a screen you can factory reset everything.
They just brought up a diagnosis check

Now, before anyone gets in a huff, please know I'm laughing WITH you, definitely not AT you!!!...Why, you ask?? Because I started having that EXACT, and I mean EXAC, problem with my 2012 Camry...
After calling Toyota service and getting ABSOLUTELY ZERO help, other than telling me to "bring it in"...I REALLY DESPISE that type of response!!!
So, after spending hours troubleshooting with only my beautiful brain, in case you haven't been able to fix it, here's what I did to resolve that insidious problem....follow my lead, and you just might solve your annoying problem so you can enjoy your Camry Bluetooth yet again!!!....😊:
--Remove anything & everything from BT....
Then, go to Setup, then choose Bluetooth on your display. After doing this, you should then have a list of four selections to choose...choose the "Detailed Bluetooth Settings" selection....on the bottom left corner, you will see the "Default" button..... Please choose it and answer "Yes" to return to original BT mode....
Of course, you're doing all of this with the devices you want to connect ready to pair!!!
After following those instructions, you will then notice the system asking you to pair your device....after doing this, you should be able to reconnect....YOWZA!!!

My problem was i can not do any type of touching on the screen ? how to do i get the stereo to let me control by touching the screen ?
I'm literally having that same issue in my 2013 Camry. It was working fine up until a few days ago and now it won't connect to my Android. When I go to the settings the only option that is available to press is the disconnect button, and even THAT is stuck in a lag. Sometimes if the car has been off for a while things seemingly reset then I'm able to connect again but It disconnects shortly after and freezes the Bluetooth. However I tested it with an iPhone and there were no issues once everything becomes unfrozen.

Late reply but, does it show up on your phone when it’s in connecting mode like this?
I fix the problem in my Camry 2015 removing the SD Card pushing the bottom power for 5 seconds resetting the stereo I hope works for someone :D
