We're finally answering our number one asked question!! Thanks for watching! Solo Sarah - 34 weeks pregnant Judah - 14 Belle - 12 Luka - 11 Micah - 9 Tori - 7 Eli - 5 Noelle - 3 Hope - 11 months
I met my husband at a church dance...married him 6 months later. We just celebrated our 1st anniversary at the beginning of this month and I just found out tonight that I am pregnant 😁
I do know Danville...my mother was born and raised in Southern Ill...Cypress,Ill.....I was from Chicago....every year we traveled down home..so i am familiar with all the towns in between...loved your story...
My husband and I met through a dating service before online dating. We met and married in 12 weeks. In May, we will celebrate our 37 wedding anniversary. God has truly blessed us.
Beautiful story...I can see the love and respect in your eyes you have when you look at each other. God gave me a great loving husband for 44 years and called him home 2 years ago..I wait now to see him again...I pray you and Solo have many happy, healthy years together and of course all your lovely wonderful children..
I had to comment!! I went with my dad ( who is a pastor ) to Kenya, South Africa and Mozembque to preach in a few churches and I met my beautiful Nigerian husband in South Africa!! My husband is also a pastor and we currently live in Nigeria.
Wow that’s awesome. Your parents should have expected nothing less then you marrying an African with all their ties over here 😀. Nigeria is a great county. Can I ask when solo first moved to America what did he do for work? We are in the same boat about to move to Australia and I don’t want to take my husband away from full time ministry because that’s what he has known his whole life, to a country that 9-5 is expected?
I went on a mission trip to Nairobi, Kenya a year ago, and it was an amazing experience. This older woman that was also on the trip was there with her husband that she had met on a mission trip years ago. It was so amazing to see God working in other parts of the world. You and Solo do such a good job managing such a large family, and those kids are lucky to have you guys!!!
I found your channel two days ago and am going back to learn more about you guys. This story proves that God put you guys together and you were destined to be together. What a beautiful story! You guys make a good point that you could meet your mate and not even know it. Has made me really reflect.
God really knew what he was doing! Solo made me laugh when he said he needed to take care of his belongings "which were NOTHING!" HAHAHA. He is so sweet and funny!
Why did this have to end? Just keep talking lol. I love it. I left America when I was 17 and met my husband while I was living in London and he(an American) was living in Kuwait. We are married now in Kuwait.
What a beautiful story of y'alls meeting, falling in love, and (eventually)😀 marrying! A wonderful testament as to how He works, not just through us but through many in our lives. I see so very much love in all y'alls videos, and this one was such an added bonus! So much love. So many blessings. Thank you for making this one. It was the perfect way to enjoy my morning coffee, on our porch, watching the river flow so peacefully, listening to the birds & critters in the backyard woods... Thank you both again. Have a beautifully blessed day!
Our relationship was based on email as well.😂 The Lord knew what he was doing. My husband and I met by a miss sent email - we have been together for nine years now. We knew each other’s character before we even saw our faces. I love your story !
Good day, my brother and sister in Christ! You are just amazing, and I feel blessed to have found your channel. Also, because God says that we are one race, made in his image, I don't consider you interracial at all. You are simply two fearfully and beautiful made human beings. Love you so much!
You two just make me smile. I loved hearing your story so thank you so much for sharing! I was born in Chicago, but my parents came to the states from India in the late 60's. We are from an area called Gujarat. I also happen to be an RN and I've always worked in obstetrics. Everything from L&D to NICU (babies are my passion too!). The work you've done in orphanages is very commendable and I admire you for it.
I currently do not work (I havn’t for a little while) due to poor health. And rather shamelessly I have watched all of your videos since October to now in the past week or so. Your family is so heart warming and wonderful to watch. You should be so proud to have such a great bunch of children. Also you and solo are so lovely together ❤️
You two are so sweet! I am new to your channel so I am just learning about your family dynamic, but it is so refreshing to see a couple so devout in their faith. Thank you for sharing your story :)
What a BEAUTIFUL story. I would have never guessed. This is my 2nd video tonight I have watched of yours, and I am in such happy tears. A movie about your lives would be such a HUGE hit, or even a reality show hahaha. I too am in a biracial relationship with my Husband of 8 years. The stories I could listen to all day. I love this, and it truly made my day. I'm Cari and my Husband is Demetrius from Southern California. I will for sure continue to follow. :)
Wow, just found ya'll from watching random videos. First found the shopping video and was intrigued by all the food you bought. Thought, "That is to feed an army." 😱😱 I have watched several of your videos. I think you are a Great Mom with a nice temperament and to manage all that with patience and humor is what is so inspiring. Being a mother of only to 2 boys of a multicultural family, El Salvadorian husband and me with my Irish/NY Texan temperament, I always pack my patience, but the Irish always wins, 😂😂. I am in awwwww, of how you do it all. Love your story of how ya'll meet. Ya'll were truly meant to be. God is Good!! You have a beautiful family and absolutely LOVE LOVE all of your cooking videos!!!!! Especially, the chai video on Christmas with your hubby. Keep them coming. Just the inspiration I needed today. Thanks! 😊 Sending Texas❤️❤️ to ya'll in Nebraska. God Bless!!
I sometimes wonder why people get so caught up on skin color, God created Adam and Eve with the genes to make all the races ,that was his plan ,he does not see different just beauty, he pronounced it Good, who are we to get offended by his creation
I really struggle with people who are racist and think it's okay to say and do disgusting things to a person of a different race. Yes there are differences but those are to be celebrated because at the end of the day we are all God's children. It astounds me that we seem to be going backwards in trying to get people to understand that love is better than hate and that some people find it easier to be negative rather than positive, kind and caring towards others. I can only conclude that when these people are young their parents/ guardians demonstrate racism and negativity. When will this end, I pray to God for peace among us all and I will continue doing so until is no longer an issue. God bless you all and also your loved ones.
@Fanta Graham I'm pakeha (white New Zealander) and I certainly don't think that I am better than anyone else so your statement is pretty judgemental. In fact it's quite racist which you probably don't recognise. It's true that in the past that there was horrific racism in a many countries but for us to move on, evolve and bring everyone together we need to leave it in the past. I /we can't change what happened in the past but I / we can make a better future for our children.
I just found you guys a few days ago and have been watching various videos of you guys and this one really really touched my heart! You guys are so beautiful together, well of course as individuals as well but your love and faith is awe inspiring!! Sarah, I watched your menu planning video earlier but didn't get to leave a comment. You spoke about not starting out knowing very many recipes and having some difficulties in making meals taste as good or whatever...you're not a natural cook i guess one could say... The trick to making food taste it's best is besides seasoning the number one ingredient is to put your love and joy just in life but more so the love and joy you have for those you're cooking for! In the same way you talk different, hug different, etc. When you are working with an orphan, all of the love you put into doing everything, even changing a diaper, so the child knows the are as special as everyone else they are loved, you love them, that you put into every touch, vocalization and facial expression, so they know...you literally put all of that into your cooking..how much you love them, how good and nourishing the food will be and how much love that nourishment will give them, how tasty you want it to be for them, how much love and joy you receive from them and of course from your faith in GOD and put all of your faith in your heart as well, etc., while you are cooking, all out of love and that will literally improve the taste of everything you cook!! Or at least that is my trick! My sister's food used to be more bland until I explained this to her! Also in all of my meat cooking I sprinkle on California Blend Style garlic powder and/or salt as well as either original Mrs. Dash or I think it's Barara or something like that, all seasoning...white label, green lid have at Wal-Mart the Name is either in black or dark green really improves the flavor of any meat and or meat dish like spaghetti etc.!!
I really enjoyed listening to your story. My husband and I aren't much of a mixed marriage, but my parents are (Dad's from Hong Kong, Mom's from Russia)! My husband is American so we have our first 11mo Chinese-Russian-American girl 😊 Would you guys do a video on your decision to have as many kids as you do? My husband and I are missionaries in Cambodia, and he wants 5 kids. I'm honestly a little scared of that idea, that I won't be able to handle all the work especially since there's no family here to help and our finances are limited. Thanks!
Sounds like your marriage is mixed too! ☺️. And your little one is beautiful. Maybe we can talk more about the large family thing and how that came about soon.
Their relationship is so beautiful. From the simple blossoming of their friendship, to the blessing of the family, the cute necklace she has on, and the excitement he gets over her! so cute
What a beautiful testimony of Love, completely orchestrated by God. You two are such a blessing and are a clear example of how God brings two together as one 💕😊
I was listening to this video while I'm driving and working running errands today. I may have missed it, but how long have you been married as of this video?
Such a great story! God is so good. Thank you for being such a great example of how to trust God in finding a life mate. It would be fun to see some wedding pictures!
This story of how you met should absolutely be a movie. I got so choked up. How romantic, I can't take it, get me a tissue, sniffles. Just so so remarkable , love it. Don't forget to thank me once Hollywood picks up your story. Blessings ❤
I’m a little late to the party! But I’m from the Detroit area, born and raised, and my husband of 15 years is from Abidjan, Ivory Coast. We have a beautiful teenage son and although the cultural differences can be difficult at times (especially since his French speaking Mother lives with us), he is my best friend and we’ve built a beautiful life together. I love seeing other couples like us, it’s quite rare to be honest! God Bless you and your wonderful family 💗
I love your story! It is so inspiring and I was so impressed by your willingness to let the Lord work through your parents to determine if you were meant to be. What an amazing journey and an even more amazing story to share with your children as they grow and meet the people that God has chosen to be their life partners. May the rest of your journey through this life be just as blessed as the first part has.
That's such an inspirational story, I've only just found your channel and have been binge watching, you really have such a lovely family and it shows the Lord has big plans for you, much love for the future and thank you sharing your lives x
Yay! Danville Illinois! I’m from Illinois. Live in Mchenry and moving to Saint Anne, Illinois. Grew up in Des Plaines. I met my husband in the 6th grade. Here. Then we lost contact and then saw each other when I transferred schools in Jr year. Started dating and married two years after. We are both now born again Christians. God bless you all! 12 years married now and two children. We love you and your family!!! Such a blessing! Thank you.
I love this so much! I met my husband(a local man from the church there!) on a church missions trip to the Dominican Republic! 9 years later, we married! I too am a nurse, and have a heart for orphans. My mouth dropped open when you said those things! I love your channel, it really makes me so excited for our future family!
Omg love your guys’ story. My husband is from Cameroon 🇨🇲 and I know all about these different aspects you speak of! I have also been to TamilNadu to volunteer in a children’s school/orphanage. That experience changed my life! God bless you guys.
Hi Solo & Sarah! I loved this video! You two are so cute together! I met my husband online, we dated for 18 months before we married. I understand the challenges of immigration as I am Canadian and my husband is American, but we only lived 45 minutes apart so that was a bonus! We’ve been married 19 years...and now I’m American too! God bless you both, you are a joy to watch. It’s obvious you are Christians...the light of the Lord shines in your eyes. Love your videos & family! ❤️❤️❤️
We have a Pastor in our church who is also planting a church here in Sioux Falls, SD for Africans here in town. He and his wife were missionaries in Africa (Burkina Faso)! We are sending him out as a sister church and we are supporting him right here in town and we did when he was in Africa as well. This is so great to know what your backgrounds are. You two are just too cute. God bless you both!!!
I do not know you, but your genuineness is infectious. You made your choice guided by your love for God.That is something that is very special.Your marriage is blessed because of that,
I just found your channel . It is truly a blessing . I’m going to learn good things from here , not that anyone is perfect , not that someone is trying any harder , but that the joy of the Lord is their strength and portion .
I just found you guys! 😍 I’m Canadian (though my dad is South African) and my BF is Ivorian and here for university. I’ve struggled with Christianity but you guys give me hope and faith! I hope my story has just as much of a happy ending! ♥️
New subbie I'm a wife in an interracial marriage (24 years in Nov 2019) I always support other interracial marriages (support marriage in general) love your story!!!!
My sweetheart and I are a little odd couple too. He is from Tanzania and I’m in Canada . We are 19 years age difference. I too went to build a school in Tanga Tanzania. Hope to meet soon . The first meeting was just yours. He approached me, introduced himself and asked me out for a drink . I turned him down . Saw him again 8 months later . He was friendly and I gave him a hug. I didn’t think much about him other than someone I knew. He found me just 10 months ago . Now we have are on day to day connection ! We love each other and hope that he comes to see me . I’m in School and can’t go till I’m done .
ROFL! Solo "I had to take care of my possessions, what little I had....which was ....none." :) He's so upbeat and humble. What a great love story you both have!
This is the MOST awesome testimony EVER! I just love it. I hope to find more about your times together as I discover your channel. You two are so heartwarming. God bless you and the wonderful family you have.

Just found your channel and love it! My husband and I have a lot of similarities in our story to yours so it was really neat to watch this one! Major differences are that I’m from NJ and he’s from Mexico but we met in Argentina so I guess we have that 3rd country in there too! 😀 Well God bless you and your beautiful family. I’m off to watch more of your videos!

My husband and I met through a dating service before online dating. We met and married in 12 weeks. In May, we will celebrate our 37 wedding anniversary. God has truly blessed us.
Pretty cool!!
Online dating wasn't around 37 years ago. Something seems fishy.
Kezia they said dating service, not online
If you read my reply carefully , It said before online dating service. This dating service had an office and contacted people by phone.
Which dating site is it? Can you give me some clues as to how to be successful in online dating? I don't like Tinder.
Beautiful story...I can see the love and respect in your eyes you have when you look at each other. God gave me a great loving husband for 44 years and called him home 2 years ago..I wait now to see him again...I pray you and Solo have many happy, healthy years together and of course all your lovely wonderful children..

That's amazing!! My mom grew up in Nigeria after being born in Kenya and I want to visit sooooo badly. Love your story!

I love your story! It is so inspiring and I was so impressed by your willingness to let the Lord work through your parents to determine if you were meant to be. What an amazing journey and an even more amazing story to share with your children as they grow and meet the people that God has chosen to be their life partners. May the rest of your journey through this life be just as blessed as the first part has.
Thank you!!

Then we lost contact and then saw each other when I transferred schools in Jr year. Started dating and married two years after. We are both now born again Christians. God bless you all! 12 years married now and two children. We love you and your family!!! Such a blessing! Thank you.

Hi..great story! I was born in raised in Cedar Rapids area in Iowa! Now i see your and I's connection Sarah..midwest ladies!
I love this so much! I met my husband(a local man from the church there!) on a church missions trip to the Dominican Republic! 9 years later, we married! I too am a nurse, and have a heart for orphans. My mouth dropped open when you said those things! I love your channel, it really makes me so excited for our future family!
Amazing story. The Creator is absolutely divine and will bring those who are worthy together. You still seem in love. Praise the Creator of all.

Hi Sarah, I am from Grand Rapids and I actually in Rockford now, a suburb of GR!!! Small world! I am also an RN!! I wish we lived closer!--Mary
Love that area!! ❤️
I just found your channel . It is truly a blessing . I’m going to learn good things from here , not that anyone is perfect , not that someone is trying any harder , but that the joy of the Lord is their strength and portion .
I just found you guys! 😍
I’m Canadian (though my dad is South African) and my BF is Ivorian and here for university.
I love your story! God works in amazing ways.
I'm fairly new to your channel but I love this story. You are both an inspiration. God Bless you both.
Love it! I'm Midwestern too, moved over a dozen times, and met my hubby online! Now we're in the east, and just celebrated our three year anniversary.
That was beautiful; when a couple laughs so much together it’s heartwarming.
ROFL! Solo "I had to take care of my possessions, what little I had....which was ....none." :) He's so upbeat and humble. What a great love story you both have!
It was meant to be :) Loved this!
This is the MOST awesome testimony EVER! I just love it. I hope to find more about your times together as I discover your channel. You two are so heartwarming. God bless you and the wonderful family you have.
love complex stories of how couples met. i think mine was interesting and in so many ways meant to be. this was fun. looking forward to your tie-breaker in may.
Just found your channel and love it! My husband and I have a lot of similarities in our story to yours so it was really neat to watch this one! Major differences are that I’m from NJ and he’s from Mexico but we met in Argentina so I guess we have that 3rd country in there too! 😀
Well God bless you and your beautiful family. I’m off to watch more of your videos!
