Hi Armani, great to catch up fella, I totally understand your desire as soon as your eyes clocked a Spyder, I was a biker for almost twenty years until a nasty coming together with the black stuff & my children starting to arrive, I wanted to be there for them as Id lost 5 mates over those years & I was taking liberties on two wheels. Now (especially after having spent 2 hours on & around one on Fri last) it is a matter of timing & which colour scheme, of which the later is proving more difficult than Id imagined, I don't particularly want an extension to a "Hi Vis" jacket & powder blue doesn't float my boat so its probably going to be a black & gold wrap over manta green base. Now my children have left home my heart told me its two wheel time again (once youve had it, it never leaves you) unfortunately being an old fart with a history of accidents abusing my body, two wheels isnt an option & being honest, I think I will live longer with three wheels beneath me. Take care fella, your children will appreciate you being there for them.

@@marlock1118 Thank you for your thoughts & wishes, they are appreciated, I am 99% certain I will go down the Spyder F3-S route in the relatively near future, if I delay I may not be able to in a few years with my spinal situation. The good news, I now know I can get my leg over a Spyder & considerably easier with floor boards. Rightly or wrongly (the jury is still out) I hide my two wheel DNA from my 4 son's & did everything I could to stop them following my path as I did my father. I promised Id help them with four wheels unless I ever found out they'd been pilot or pillion, then the deal dies. Now they drive & have no love or desire for two wheels. I haven't as yet told them I will be going down the three wheel route & doubt I will but expect some ear ache but when I get found out spending their inheritance 🙂 Take care, wishing you health & happiness.

What's up Mike, likewise always good to hear from you. The Spyderf3 is one of those bike when you see it for the first time I want it at all cost lol. Sorry for your lost, I have lost many family members on motorcycles too. Nothing wrong with having 2 bikes for a change from time to time. 3Wheel in my opinion is safer.! A year ago, I traded in my 2015 VStar 1300 in for a 2021 Can Am Ryker Rally and didn't regret it. I feel safer when my wife and I ride together while enjoying the scenery. Even though the Ryker is a 900 triple, that CVT tranny makes it a blast to past trucks on the interstate. Three wheels don't replace two but, like you said, were having fun on this!!!

I am 72 but too dangerous for me to ride a two wheel motorcycle past 80. The ryker should allow me to hit 90 before I retire from cycling.
