The slayer didn't use the full counterplay against the vine super, they should FD or deflect shield the last hit in the air
Slayer win condition in this matchup is Aba players have a single brain cell (fairly common tbh) and losing it for 18 or more seconds per round (that is not so common, a brain cell is fairly easy to track due to its solitude).

I still play Guilty Gear, but I feel you. I'm more of a fan of slower neutral based fighting games. Street Fighter 6 is currently my favorite because I feel like every character is balanced very well. Anime fighting games tends to be more on the crazier side and sometimes shit happens that just don't make sense.

this slayer's bursts are kinda insane. 4:42 7:16 what are you so scared of dude, these are light starters and she has no resources. then you struggle later cause you couldn't burst out of a CH c.S combo
Lowkey he's playing like he's going against sol or smth you do NOT need to burst that 😭 i get it tho i dont even play the game LOL
Bulky characters like slayer are very incentivised to burst early in the name of keeping momentum/going back to neutral soon so that ideally they can build another burst later in the round. If they get positive bonus at any point it's guaranteed. It's not about the damage, it's about gambling on getting at least one solid hit later to build back your entire burst again.

I said "they hate the color blue" beacuse they said they hate this map, which is blue. And it is also a reference to a ABA voice line that she says "i love the water... i love the color blue" ( or somethin i dont remember ) in the arcade mode, which it is on this very map
Gorilla strive is not a competitive game. That is, of course, you can compete using gorillas from the meta, but technical and risk characters like Millia are not needed here. Nothing has changed for 3 years now. The meta of the game is braindead cheap garbage with broken damage, or a broken autopilot that just skips neutral and cuts you off in the corner. these are two extremes in this game. and Millia is stuck somewhere in the middle, powerless against them. Garbage game. the worst thing they could have done to the series. narrow, variable-free tunnel and gutted gameplay.
don't mind me. I'm a fake, just like your game. Strive is fake guilty gear. I just can’t believe that after a masterly xx or even xrd, they released this shame. It’s not surprising that this dirty game has gathered the worst and most prejudiced community around it.
Asuka is not in any categories of meta characters you names and he's commonly played in tournaments, and also forever trapped in A tier, tbh I can't really deny all of the other things u said bc I'm kinda new to GG (strive first game) and I just feel like Asuka is the best character out of everything this game has to offer.
