    With her new video interview series 'Take Me Places' Reggaeville host Munchy highlights some of the veterans, members of the Reggae fraternity that have played crucial roles in the business, by giving them a platform to share their personal story as well as Jamaican music history.

    Grew up 1980s Long Island NY & NYC with Sly & Robbie, listening to Taxi Connection, opening up an entire new experience of "Roots" and "Dub" reggae music, discovering Augustus Pablo "King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown" and Black Uhuru, being exposed to all the greats. This man, by far, is the most talented accomplished percussionist and 1 half of the greatest and most influential rhythm section in the history of Reggae Music genre. Big Up! Respect. Thank you sir, for sharing your musical genius for 40+ years, still making tremendous contributions to Jamaican culture and performing arts. Your music, past and present, revealed globally for generations to enjoy and our world is a better place for it praise the Lord. May God bless you Mr. Lowell "Sly" Dunbar, and keep on keepin on strong! RIP Robbie Shakespeare, incredibly talented bassist, your music will be listened to for many years to come keeping their legacy alive.
