I'm just here to remind people that WBD openly held negotiations with WWE while AEW was still on their network. WBD were going to drop AEW from their network, it's clear they don't see AEW as important at all.
I completely forgot about this, and there were a lot of denials by non-WBD sources trying to claim nothing was going on.

The only rights fee offer I can see AEW getting is "We'll Give You What You Have Been Getting,Take It Or Leave It". Why would they pay them billions like WWE with their ratings? They could put a movie from 1994 in their slots,get triple the ratings,and it's free.

Those movies aren’t exactly free. But many have a larger audience than a second rate show that’s trying to replicate SNL (sans a musical guest) and failing consistently.
I’m not sure about a movie, but they could air back to back Big Bang Theory and consistently get way more viewers than AEW.

AEW wrestlers need a wake up call, you're making the big money but you're NOT talented enough to be on TV.
Konnan’s point about AEW is basically everybody is Bret Hart in WCW. Someone of such a high caliber and level needs the Vince McMahon/WWF-E push behind them. Its why Cody had to go get over in WWE because an environment with no structure,rotten booking and poor leadership can truly cherish a STAR the way he or she needs to be cherished and protected.
Fuck me that’s a STRETCH to call everybody in AEW an equivalent of Bret Hart in WCW though!
Bret was already a huge household name when he went to WCW. The only ones AEW have of that same mould is Jericho, Danielson and Copeland. I know some argue Moxley but he was the 3rd wheel in The Shield, always the least impressive.
Either way, that’s 3 guys who are on the decline and closer to the end than the beginning and Moxley who doesn’t have great crossover/mass appeal.
They have Kenny and Ospreay, but they’re not huge global superstars like Bret was.

Walter Payton was the most exciting running back to play in the NFL, he played for the Bears, and he was never hurt, he only missed one game in 11 seasons. Which is a miracle because the Bears always had a terrible offensive line and he got slammed all the time, but he just run through the tackles and got his 100 yards a game anyway.

If the shows were booked better AEW has enough talent for two competitive brands. Just unify the ROH and AEW titles with the exception of the AEW men's and women's world titles. Give the new belts the lineage of ROH, put them on their bigger stars, do a brand split, book the champions in some storylines, have in mind who's gonna beat them and when and start building up those people. Also, as soon as the story of the Elite vs Tony Khan wraps up, send the Young Bucks to Japan for 8-9 months and let everyone forget about them. Maybe Orange Cassidy can go somewhere too.
AEW marks can do the whole "they first 3rd for the night" stuff all they way. Cool boast, they're 3rd on a dying service.

The TV deal is uncertain because Aew has such a paper thin roster and the product just isn't good. TV stations and TV channels want to make a profit off of a deal. Aew isn't a reliable wrestling company and they don't really make a profit. They overspent on wrestler's and on the wrestler's entrance's.
Cornette and Last read off AEW’s injured list a week or two ago and there were 26 wrestlers either injured or just not on tv. It’s wild lol

Or at least offered those fans a copy of a finished product? If not, he's a POS, and shouldn't be given an outlet to spew his opinions.
