I am obsessed with a cozy bed as well and just a tip for getting a down insert into a duvet……. turn the duvet inside out and lay flat on the bed, lay the insert directly flat on top of it, reach your hand through the opening of the duvet and grab the back corners(one at a time) of both insert and duvet and pull through. It’s so much easier. I used to do it the same way as you and struggled and I used to have my son help me lol until I googled it and saw that there was easier ways.
