honestly i can't even say all the positive stuff bc the rest of the comment section already has and i'd just repeat it, but yes smooth and chunky and charming! The change in rhythm with releasing horse breeds seems to be paying off, these no longer look rushed! The only things bothering me is the basic mane and tail style, it looks very clean and lush and in my opinion the slightly messier style would've been a better basic option, though that might just be me. And secondly i would love to see a breed with special effort put into the jumps' landing (maybe that could be a thing for gen 4), i feel like the motion of coming out of a jump straigh back into full gallop is such a gracious and smooth thing to see while in sso the horses jump and touch down with their front hooves crookedly and their ass just falls down and they snap back into the gallopping animation. definitely gonna write that to sse as well bc maybe they just havent thought of it, but it's just slightly bugging me. Other than those perfectionist nitpick thingies i am incredibly impressed with their work (lately, still gotta decide if i love the mustangs or not)

God damn I love dartmoor ponies irl, and I'm so excited to get them into the game :3! I took care of one "over grown" dartmoor pony at the last horse camp I went to a long time ago as a kid. He was so much fun and I jumped my "record" (120cm) with him , so many good memories on that little firecracker 🧨
They're cute! I already like them A LOT more than the mustangs. They aren't so stiff and their mane styles are super appealing to me. Can't wait to see them in game!
OMG! I've been waiting for SSO to release horse that matches my real gelding and I almost settled for a Gotland, even though its not an exact match, but this bay Dartmoor is almost perfect (and probably as close as I'll ever get). He's a Welsh Cob cross (don't know what he's crossed with) but he is short and chonky. What makes this one perfect though is that he is trained to smile and paw/do the spanish walk. I'm so excited!
The body is taken from the finn horse, the animations are taken from the welsh pony and the coat colours are mainly taken from either the halfflinger or gotland pony. I know most horses are a mixture of other gen 3 horses but I love the mustangs so much because their different and unique models and animations. I was hoping that the dartmoor ponies were going to be unique aswell but I guess not. Sure they are cute but honestly speaking I was expecting better.
I AM IN AWE. These horses are soo adorable! 100% will buy once star stable releases them. Extra excited because these little guys are also probably my favorite breed irl.
The animation of the legs and body in the walk is so graceful. The back legs need some love in the gallop as the hinds are too stiff. But I love it nonetheless!
These guys are adorable!! They remind me of the haflingers a bit, (which i'm not complaining about!) can't get over how tiny they are though, lol. Definitely will be getting the seal bay or red roan.

I love ponies irl (good thing too, I'm a short adult), but I generally think the pony breeds in game look a little strange. There's always something a little off that puts me off riding them. With that being said! I am in LOVE!! I can't say I'd clock them as a Dartmoor, but I can say they look like incredibly lovely little ponies. The type of fabled unicorns that us peasants dream of having had the chance to ride growing up
They're adorable, but it looks like I will not be able to add to my Palomino collection this time round. lol Oh well, I guess other colours are acceptable. Sometimes. lol :)
Looks like a new shape of the Connemara-Pony to me. I do not see much of the Haflinger in this model comparising the height. Thks CC Creation for sharing

Actually not really, usually if someone was too big their feet would be way past the belly. I think if you have the bigger body types then yeah they might be too big irl. However being a stocky pony type they could easily carry a small woman irl with no problem. I ride Icelandic horses and you’d be surprised how strong some shorter horses/ponies can be. It depends on bone density/ muscle mass of the breed.
yeah, if this was rl, the caracters would be way to big as you may only weight a surden percentage of the horses body weight inc. tack. the caracter is nearly half the size of the pony.
A couple of the coats made me say “They look so much like Halfies!” I never got a halflinger because I hated the way their tails looked but these cuties are a great alternative:)

It proves the fact that there are different teams who do the horses, one better than the other 😂
To me these look like a mix of the Gotland ponies, Welsh ponies and Haflingers, which i really love the Gotlands so its a good thing in my eyes!

In the Gallopp and fast Galopp the neck does the dolfin. Other than that I am quite happy with them! They remind me a lot of the welshes
