    Since I got mine in 2020, I've almost exclusively played it on gigs. I got rid of a $2000 boutique bass because this was the sound I was really after.

    I felt they've significantly improved the pickup compared to previous classic vibe models. The old ones felt missing in the low end register

    Se non fosse per il logo Squier lo potrei scambiare tranquillamente per un Fender d'annata! Questa nuova serie Classic Vibe prodotta in indonesia sembra ancora meglio di quella precedente, decal corretta anni 70, ponte e meccaniche vintage, rifinitura del manico con quella meravigliosa verniciatura giallastro/ambrata che fa troppo effetto invecchiato (bene)... e poi il suono! Davvero, suona proprio come un autentico Jazz in tutto e per tutto! Che dire, un applauso strameritato a Squier! Mi sa che ne prenderò presto uno black/maple!

      Ho lo stesso basso, credimi in futuro vorrei comprare l'analogo Fender, ma lo Squier che ho suona così bene che temo che suoni peggio il Fender perché ogni legno ha una sua storia e colore. Magari il mio è riuscito benissimo.

    Well,
    The strings are headed for the trash, and I’m going to bury the bridge under some rocks just to make sure some unsuspecting head doesn’t accidentally try to use it.
    (Stripped saddle screws, but I never intended to keep it anyway)
    That being said,
    I love this thing!!!
    Sounds great and has a silky fast neck. WELL WORTH THE MONEY!

    Nice passive sounding bass, it just have such a clean sound. It is a workhorse, I can tell you can practice all day with that bass.

    I have a Vin Mod Jazz Bass Fretless...thing is sweet! Duncan Designed pups. Also have an Affinity V with a Classic Vibe maple neck...love these basses. Looking to get The Classic Vibe 70s.

    My 5 string CV Jazz natural color is tied with my Fender Player P bass for my favorites of the 10 basses I have owned. I plan on getting the 4 string in black.

    Ottimo strumento, ne ho uno colorazione naturale, e praticamente uso sempre quello, vorrei sapere se per caso avete la versione a cinque corde, nella colorazione sunburst.

    bought this bass as SOON as i found out it was a thing a few months back. had so many telling me it was no different than the VM 70s but that spacing makes a good bit 'o difference.

      @@00100101001010101 it's a tonal difference in the mid range to high end. it also affects the the tone of the natural scooping when the pickups are on together.

      O Squier é a sub marca da Fender. Esse Squier é produzido na Indonésia mesmo. O Jazz Bass da Fender é produzido nos EUA e custa 3-4 vezes mais caro.

      classic vibe will be more much more versatile! I just would recomend the ibanez if you are into metal, nu metal, that kind of stuff!

      Personally me i dont like ibanez sound for bass may b due to humbker pickup it sounded like boomy like sound from only pickup for me
      I feel like deep tone in jazz bases feels like sound comming directly through wood

      look for comparison videos, there are videos with 10 to 20 different basses. play blind and press pause when you like a sound. thats how i ended my p bass demand and found out that i am a j bass guy.

      the big one thing is pickup spacing. the tone scoops and growls a bit different.

      Bridge pickup placement on the CV 70s is closer to the bridge then the VM series.

    Looks like they changed the fretboard color to a more darker maple. WOW. I had the Vintage modified and didn't like the very light color of the fretboard which was an ugly fit with the natural color body. Now we're talking!

      A sentirlo suonare con l'auricolare puoi anche prenderlo, prezzo competitivo e suono discreto, ma si sa.... È tutto un prenderci. Io posseggo 2 precision classic vibe e ne sono contento,tant' evvero che me li porto anche nei miei live lasciando spesso i miei Fender originali a casa, ma ti consiglio di provarlo prima di acquistarlo. Per esempio 4 anni fa vidi in un negozio un jazz classic vibe natural, lo provai ma faceva defecare...

    The more affordable Geddy! Slap some American Vintage pickups in there and you've got one at 1/2 price.

      Please note that there is no quality control whatsoever on the woods used in this guitar. You can have a lucky pick and it will hold the use of time, or the bass will have warping neck after 2 and a half year.

      @@boboutelama5748 Played many Squiers and that's quite rarely the case. I've had Mexican fenders warp after several months. If you REALLY want a super stable instrument, shell out more $$ my guy.

      Bapt and the Basses nah. Definitely fret buzz. Some people like that sound. They call it “growl” or “rasp” or some similar. Maybe set up would correct it but I would think this one has been set up before demoing it.
