Because the cast said this reveal will blow you away and nobody would guess. Every time there is a masked villain it's either the audience says Eddie or Ronnie. Ronnie already came back as a villain and a speed force ghost and now the producers want him to be Savitar? Pretty lame writing if you ask me. If they really wanted to blow the audience away, they should've made Savitar Iris or Joe. That would've been worth the wait in my opinion.

I'd rather Savitar be ANYBODY but Ronnie. He's not Ronnie though, so we can stop worrying. I'd be willing to bet money on it (if I had any that is). I think the writers want you to think that it's Ronnie though. A last minute red herring. I don't know why people are falling for it though, because a Ronnie reveal would be some lame ass writing, and makes no sense. If you add up all the clues Savitar has dropped throughout the season (and I have) Ronnie does not fit. That's how I know it's not him, and that's also why if it does turn out to be him I will stop watching. The Flash has enough plot holes as is that I have generously chosen to ignore up to this point, but a Ronnie is Savitar reveal would be the final straw for me. They've touted this as this big reveal, and Ronnie would just be a disappointment.

I find it ironic that the "God of Speed" has to bow to whoever he's revealing himself to.
My theory is this, Savitar is Wally West. The reason Wally was mute in the future is because he saw himself kill his sister. This whole season has been built around Wally getting faster. Savitar gave Wally his powers "I created myself and only I can bring out my greatness". Wally didn't have powers prior to flashpoint and he was the hero in flashpoint. A version of Wally west is evil and seeing that broke him. "I'm sorry you had to die iris but it was you or me". Barry trapping jay forced Jessie to leave to earth 3. Wally is faster than Barry so he's able to tap into the speed force and time travel. When he found out he had powers his future self came back in time to give them to him and get revenge on Barry. Caitlin has always been there for Wally also. At some point in the future Wally loses his power and he uses the suit to tap into the speed force. She sees Wally and knows he betrayed the team. "One will fall, one will betray you and one will suffer a fate far worse than death." Caitlin dies, Wally betrays them, and Barry gets broken from Iris death. Wally was the only one in a shell when he got his powers. Just my theory. What you think?

Exactly there's more to it and Wally has been a vocal point in this season. His obsession with gaining his speed when he realized he had powers and his jealousy with Jesse when he learned she had them.
It's all about time and multi verses. If someone like Wally who was obsessed with gaining speed so badly he could figure out how to actually get his powers back. Also in season two Wally was a engineer, he was able to build fast cars etc. if this Wally (savitar) doesn't have speedforce than the suit is what's giving him those powers. There's a timeline where Wally doesn't have speed

Barry, hunter's doppelganger/remnant or anybody who has speed and can rip her in two with his hand. Though if Savitar isn't fast without his suit (unlikely if he takes it off in front of barry) it could still be ronnie since he is an expert at engineering, just probably not enough of one to create a super suit like Savitar's.

Albie Nieves Eobard has actually become a rift in the timeline that no matter what happens, he will always be around. It is hard to explain, but he basically cannot be erased from time because of the way he is positioned in time. Time just creates another remnant of himself each time he dies.
Bailey Weeks that very well could be but what a lot of people don't realize is that a Flashpoint already existed before Barry's Flashpoint. Let's call it the Reverse Flashpoint. Eobard came from the future, killed Barry's mother and then got stuck. Thus creating The Reverse Flashpoint. In the comic's Barry's mother is alive. And Barry gets his power's earlier than he was supposed too. Barry was already living in a Flashpoint. RF was stuck and basically had no choice but to train Barry thus insuring his future. He always needed Barry to get back home. But he never made it cause Eddie took his own life. RF was wiped away, but then Eddie fell into the speed force. Anything could've happened after that.

What if Savitar is Barry from flash point prior to our Barry arriving there. Barry would have created a new version of himself that wouldn't have the motivation to become the flash he gets from his mothers death and also would not have a timeline to physically exist in. So when Barry went back to fix flash point he would have taken everything from Flashpoint Barry (i.e. his parents) so killing Iris would be the perfect revenge for everything he loves being taken away.
This theory doesn't make complete sense but then again half the explanations for stuff that happens don't make the most sense

4th reference/fact : In the existing universe up till the first season worm hole Barry Alan was the first person to become a speedster . so technically speaking , Barry Alan was the first person granted speed.

Well Savitar is Barry Allen because explaining the fact that Wally didn't talk to the flash and his mom died, it could be because flash went back in time grabbed his mother killed her again, again and again while Wally's back was broken. Also, when Katlin snow became surprised at the end of episode 19 and said "why should i trust you." she wasn't surprised that he was Barry Allen she was surprised that he is fast but isn't showing his speed.
on wednesday, around 7:30 am EST i finished the episode on the cw app, and then the trailer for 3x20 showed a completely different trailer where Barry runs to Savitar in that neighborhood, and barry still had his mask on and it was showing savitar taking off his armour like he did with caitlin, what happened to that trailer because it's completely different?

It's Barry Allen's time remnant that was ripped apart while fighting Zoom. The device has white lightning like Savitar. Allen wasn't killed like everyone thought, but was trapped in the speed force, driving him insane because the other Barry got to stay behind and have a life while he was the one who paid the price to save everyone.
Or it could be Eddie Thawne. Like Barry said "The past, the present, the future". Eddie was somewhat of a rival of Barry before either had powers, and his lineage in the future led to the Reverse flash kind of meaning that the Thawne blood line has always been in conflict with Barry.

Hello Pagey. I saw the epidsode last night. At the end, my instinct told me, that the actor in the Savitar suit is Robbie Amell. I forgot the name of the person he played in season one.
In my opinion,this episode might determine season 3's fate.........if it was Ronnie , Flash cast screwed up big time...this season ARROW is 100 times better than flash..............Hail OLIVER.

I think savitar could be either ronny or barry but it doesn't make sense that savitar is ronny because on the episode when team flash was talking to savitar through Julian he was saying things to make you think it is barry.

I think savitar is ronnie reymond because when martin stine doesn't have any one to combine with he gets weak and ronnie needs the suit of armur to prevent that, and thats how he knows who team flash cares about and their weaknesses not including that savitar went to killerfrost(ronnie's girl freand) first.
I think it's berry from the future future remember in the comics he had a twin brother who was cold bolt blue who achieve the power of a fire blue sword that allows him to steal speedster speed.

was I the only one to notice the hair color on Savitar changed throughout the season cause at the beginning it was blonde but when we we it open in the last episode u can c he has black hair so any character could be Savitar at this point
About the Savitar armor, didn't Future Flash had some kind of a nanotech suit on?
The thing trailer of 3x20 and all other episodes don't show the very very end so I like how they show Savitar identity before the very end like it might even be the middle because on abracadabra trailer abracadabra said I know who Savitar is and everyone was hyped and he said that like 18 minutes in the show. My point is they show Savitar in the middle so that's good they can't leave us on a cliffhanger. YESSSSSSS NO MORE BREAKS!!!!!!!!!!
