I still use my mini regularly. I have a JBL Go2 and imo the Jambox spreads it's sound wider and better at higher volumes even if it lacks the bass of the JBL. Listening to podcasts and sports on the Jambox is great. I can't change the voice settings but that's all I remember ever using the app for after the initial set-up anyway. Still discoverable by all my BT devices new and old and pairs without fuss. Mine has been around the States a few times and been soaked in beer / river water a time or two. Great product.
this speaker is now only 79RMB on Taobao, a website belongs to Alibaba...soooooo cheap!! (However, only the speaker itself, no changer, no AUX line...)
Also recently found my Mini Jambox in storage when I moved and used it today while having family over and grilling. Crazy considering I’ve had it almost 10 years.
Can't get mine to pair with my Gx-S8 any longer (even though it once did) and the only firmware updates I can find on the web are bootleg and I can't get them to work. I used to love this thing because it gave good sound at low volume on my desk, but not it is useless :'{
It's the best portable speaker ive had. It has very good sound quality, durable i dropped it thousands of times even off 2 store building and it still works though it has some scratches and dents. It even fits in my back pocket. I can even use it to defend my self when im on the road because of its very strong structure.
I just charged my mini and wow have we come along way. My jbl go2 plays louder. I can’t believe I use to think how great this speaker was. If it played louder it would have been a good speaker.

I use them all the time, ideal for taking in the bathroom when having a shower, also ideal in the bedroom when you only want background music. I paid about £25 each for mine from a guy on eBay UK a few years ago now. He still has a few left. They're still a great sound for their size at a low - medium volume. I still use my Mini-Jambox in 2023! It sounds great and very portable with great battery life. In fact I have 2 of them, one at home and one at work.
I still use mine all the time! It's not the loudest, but it sounds decent for how small it is, and it's still a great design. It feels indestructible.
The live audio feature should be the solely reason to own this other than the beautiful design, the sound stage is just outstanding

My mini jambox still works fine. Sounds is still good for its small size. I use it regularly and charge once or twice a month.

I just ordered 2, before I knew there is a similar xiaomi speaker with much better performance.

Was just given one today. It seems good for its size. It does get a bit distorted at highest volume but I really can’t complain for a free speaker!

My app went missing in an Apple update, and now the jawbone boom box is not discoverable anymore.

Omg I just found mines! But how do I use it w/o the app??
Just switch it on, press and release the pairing button underneath the power button and search for it on your bluetooth device and pair it.
