I understand that every nation has its fair share of issues and that things are not always as they seem, but gosh, this area is literally right out of those gorgeous drawings I've seen in tale books as a child and dreamed of visiting when I was younger. Every frame of this film is worthy of being used as a desktop wallpaper.

Saint-Cloud is one of the most beautiful cities in France. Its Saint Clodoald church can be seen from kilometers around. Its park is immense. Unfortunately the royal castle was destroyed during the franco-prussian war in 1871 (sadly it is reported that it was burned by a French bombing from the fortress of Mont Valérien). From the park there is a breathtaking landscape over Paris to enjoy. You can walk to the neighbouring city of Sèvres and visit the beautiful French Museum of Ceramics. The great French composer Charles Gounod (1818-1893)( author of famous operas like Faust, Romeo and Giulietta and Mireille), lived in Saint-Cloud.
