Thank you so much man, I have a crappy old computer and just wasted my entire week editing a decent montage (at least in my eyes) and got greeted by a water mark bigger than my youtube career will ever be. Your going places my dude keep doing your thing.
Did it work?
Did it work and what did you use
@@zandaleesmit1092 I checked it, it was working very smooth... Especially vsdc which has many effects and good editing up options....
@@SidBroadcasts I used it before but now it's so slow I dont know why.
bro caught me off guard with *got greeted by a water mark bigger than my youtube career will ever be*
💀💀
LOLL😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thank you! I work in shotcut and was about to dump it for being buggy, crashy and laggy and my computer's actually pretty good. The Taskbar trick helped significantly. I just liked and subscribed. You rock!
Came into this looking for some useful info, came out of it INSPIRED. Thanks for your energy dude!
Who else wants needs a video editor for...
-Low end pc
-Beginners
-Windows
-non laggy ?
*Use shot cut in this case*
I used softwares like Da Vinci , if u have 4 gb ram , ur PC will either suicide or cry while rendering .
Ikr I'm a beginner and tried resolve and it was glitching everytime
@@rajshukla2927 Yeah if u r beginner i highly suggest u to use shot cut. Its good for low end PCs + very very well for beginners
I’m using shot cut and im still experiencing some lags..any suggestions? BTW I have a dell windows 10
@@EnoYc Go to settings > Video Mode > Select automatic + Go to settings and Enable GPU Processing . It will reduce lag.
@@mrsarcast8500 bro i was editing video on da vinci and the software crash 2 time for 2 text lmao maybe is the 1gb gpu
Thank you Mr. Cole
It has been a dream of mine to be a content creator for some time and recently I have had the opportunity to get involved. It has been frustrating due to depression and dormancy. I'm going to give it another shot. I appreciate what you do trying to help people. Thank you again
THANK YOU! This is EXACTLY what I needed. Computer crashed during last edit. New SUB!
Dude, thanks for turning me on to VSDC. The free version is great. As much as I love Resolve, and my main machine rocks it, it can be a bit of a pain sometimes. VSDC does everything I need, but it's so good, I decided to go ahead and go for the paid version. Awesome stuff! Thanks again!
You changed my life, recommending to check my computer settings! 🙌🏼 Thank you!
I needed that video!! :D
Thanks JC, I Subscribed. I like your style of teaching.
now you can just drop this link when you get this question every time during livestreams lol
Thank Jack. You came as the first search result. I just needed the names. And surely will watch you further.
I wish I would have seen this video first when I decided to do my channel because you're absolutely right my biggest problems once I got started was knowing that my computer was too weak for the program it was trying to run therefore I'm learning about RAM and how important that is to a computer so yes you're right and this plagues yeah a beginner area of your community you're absolutely correct
Nice and helpful video Jack, thanks
Slow computers.. Razer on the in front of him :D
Probably the slowest one he's ever had
bro he can still try and help us out
Hahaha I taught of it too, he is preaching one thing and doing a different thing

Great content value. Thank you.
Great tip. Thanks
Wow! First time to watch you. You are such a young CZcamsr who are actually legit and helpful. Good job! ❤️💋
Thank you Jack .. Really good tip .
If you use VSDC, if you put all the footage on a USB and open the footage through the USB on the editor, it will speed the CPU up and render the video faster
Doing Exploring Good Tip!! Personally, I've been finding VSDC frustrating..steep learning curve if you're a newbie
But you also have to export it onto the USB to speed it up
Is this true?
I cant even cut a video that it literally will delete
Will external drive work too?
Great video really informative ❤️❤️❤️
Love it bro. Hopefully I can finish your video
Thanks so much Jack Cole your the best!!!
Thanks dude! Much obliged.
Thanks so much. Helpful video.
Thanks, man I've been looking for software for a while now.

9:26 I think your one of the most genuine you tubers because you didn’t get everything given to you, you worked for your goals and I’m in the same position you were when you were 10. I’m 15 now and I Hope I get to where your at now in a few years!
Legend Mister, glad you’re digging the content!

Woah that 'priority' trick is freaking neat! Thank you!

thank you so much just what i needed. have shotcut and bit sketchy so will try your priority trick, also I have been using windows 10 photos and this works quite well too and is really easy for beginners.
Would you recommend recording and editing videos with the msi laptop gf63? Or would it not work completely gaming and recording the same time
Nice one ❤❤

Thanks Jack, I remember you being one of my first videos when I was looking up Editing Software I ended up falling down that rabbit hole of tutorials with the clips you provided so I done edited you and your "Homies" breaking into the castle 100 times with different programs only to find out I needed better specs but you were the first video to pop up when I googled best Editing software for low end PC's thanks for always keeping it 100 when you're old enough ill buy you a beer maybe some putang

Ive never needed a beast PC before and recently wanted to get into editing some simple videos, tried doing so and most places i tried didn't work. Hoping this will work for me.
i tried to download shotcut but a popup appeared that said my grphics card is insufficient. its an amd and amd said that card is older and cannot be updated. cant afford a new computer. what should i do?

Man thanks soo much for inspiring someone like me
Do you have any suggestion on which software I should use for editing 4k 60 fps videos? I have 4gb ram in my mac pro mid 2012
Short cut is much more lagging problems
I thought Open shot and filmora is Run smoothly .. for 4gb ram computer.
I'm first here.. your videos are awesome ❤...
Thank you, I'll try this and I hope it works
The only editing software that’s worked on my slow potato of a computer is Olive. I like it a lot. It’s still in alpha so it’s somewhat unstable, but it’s got auto save so it’s alright.
wait what i clicked on this video and emidietly got an ad for an editing software lol 😂😂
me too😂
You helped me a lot lad so i recommended you to some people who wanted to start their own channel
Hello!!
I have some question i have lenovo thinkpad x1 core i5 3gen
It is useful to have a filmora sofeware in my loptop?
For editing vedeo!! Thanks.
In Vsdc, when I do the task manager thing, the audio gets really choppy. Maybe it's just my laptop. I need a pc. :(
this is actually the downside of increasing the priority, the laptop could become unstable because background processes(incl. drivers for your speakers, mouse, keyboard etc) arent getting enough hardware resources to run.
If you had set the priority to Realtime then you should try to reduce it to High or Above Normal which could fix the problem but your editing software will have less resources to use
Think I'll have to change to Shotcut. Damn pity, i was getting into resolve man. It just doesn't play smooth while editing, therefore trying to get things lined up at certain times is a frecking nightmare. I'll give it another few days and see if i can get another cube inch of power out of this laptop without smoke. Thanks for your input bud.
did you make optimized media? it helps a lot
@Our Blessed Life same, best thing to do is editing clips/trim in windows movie maker. Then add small clips to shotcut and edit in.
It's free a works really well with amazing results. I added a GoPro to a drone the other day and used shotcut to color and stable.. easy enough when you've already tried the footage.
Thank you for giving me the knowledge of Shotcut!
It f*cking works! Thanks man! You've been helping me for years.
This video loaded for 20 seconds, but still hope that there will be some program for my notebook.
jack: microsoft store which is some nonsense place, i've never been there my entire life
me: *wow same*
Vsdc i got downloaded but problems i face that more then 1 video to add in timeline is not working easy not good to arrange, 2nd video 25 fps/rate going up to left side not vertical.. How n why, how to rotate in this software, thanks pls reply any 1
Very useful video, I like it... and I am also following yours suggestions and using Shotcut Video Editor
what if all i had to do was "chop" the videos to make a simple video? what's a good software for that which will run on slow computers?
Bro on my windows 7 pc shortcut is showing open gl 2.0 error how do i can fix that problem
nice one jack ..iam gonna go for the shot cut after listening ...
**please help: iMac 21 inch, 2.3 ghz, i5, 16gb RAM, will that run smooth on pro premiere? Or will it lag?
It will run decent based on your specs
me i know if what kind of editors can you suggest of kind this loptop , it is Dell 2GB only.
I have a 3.80 gb ram on my computer and VSDC works!
I've tried so many editors and VSDC and shotcut are the only ones which works well! Thanks Jack such a helpful vedio
Yeah the same config and VSDC works really well.
Thanks my computer is a potato but now I can finally make my first vid keep it up 👍
I like the honest in this video; 'set your sites on better equipment, it is
what it is''.
I get that, so far I'm barely at the chop chop stage, but my laptop and
windows m maker are really lagging unusable, so hopefully I'll get steered
in the right direction here, for a super lame stage noob.
thank you i just started youtube and i need a editing software its great thanks a lot 10/10
Hi I am not good with electronics can you assist? I wan to start teaching on several subjects all my material is in word , xl or power point. So I want the document to be visible and then record my interpretation to save on editing time. Do you have a video to explain how to do this. Thanks
