    Partridge and Moulding 2 of the best songwriters we've produced.

    • @i_love_rescue_animals
      @i_love_rescue_animals Před rokem

      You mean, Partridge. He was the MAIN songwriter, by far, forXTC. I think Colin was more of a brilliant bass player. He did get the hit ªGenerals and Majors", but it was not one of my fave XTC songs. (sorry Colin!)

      @@i_love_rescue_animals they're both pretty damn good! I'm a new fan, but when I was listening to Drums and Wires blind I had no idea there were even two different singers. Actually I thought all of it was Colin because I had only seen the Life Begins At The Hop video where he looked like the front man/singer for the band.

      @@Mattman0106 Here's a very good live video (except the audience doesn't seem to be fully appreciating the brilliance on display in front of them!) of XTC from 1980 - ish: czcams.com/video/We2ORbOVFuw/video.html Andy is the one talking at the beginning, in the hat and center stage. Here, you will be able to differentiate their voices better. To me, Andy's voice is very unique. Love his voice and his songwriting. ❤
