    As Salaamu Alaikum!
    When reciting Al Fatiha in salat is it right or wrong if you do not say aloud, for instance in Fajr prayer, Bismillah ar Rahmanir Rahim.
    Which is actually the first verse.
    Some Imams go right to Alhamdu lillah, Rabbi Alamin with out saying the first verse out loud.
    Al Hamdulillah Rabbi Alamin is the second verse.

      Wa alaykum assalam,
      The Bismillah' of Surah al Fatiha must be pronounced at all times.
      It should be pronounced loudly in Fajr, Maghrib and Isha prayers.

    Is it better to wait for the imam to rise into qiyam from sujood if you come in late where the imam is doing 1st or 2nd sajda? or should you do takbir al ihram and join the imam in sujood?
    do you have to say in niyyah for jamah "I'm doing isha prayer in jamah wajib qurbatanillallah"? What if you just say "I am praying isha prayer wajib qurbatanillallah", does that mean you won't be part of the jamah?
    Also, in the case of praying behind a sunni Imam but you do not want to be part of the jamah, do you make regular niyyah as if you praying alone?

    • @IslamicLessonsMadeEasy
      @IslamicLessonsMadeEasy Před 2 lety +3

      Salam,
      1. Yes, you wait for the imam to rise from sujud in the given situation. If it is the last rakah and want to join and you want to earn the reward of jama’ah, then you can join in tashahhud as mentioned in the video.
      2. Your Niyyah must be for jama’ah but does not need to be verbal. If you are praying with the intention of furada (single prayer), you will have to recite everything as a normal prayer and you will not be included in the jama’ah
      3. With your third question, there may be a difference of opinion. In the link certain questions have been addressed. www.sistani.org/english/qa/01154/
      In any case if you don't want to be part of the jama'ah whether sunni or shia you just make the niyyah for furuda.

    1) Must the niyyah be verbalized? As in does it suffice if I know that I am praying behind the Imam without saying my niyyah or verbalizing it within my head? Is verbalizing it within my head even necessary or does merely knowing it suffice?
    2)when getting up when the Imam is reading the salam, what part of the salam do you have to wait until for you to get up? Is it the 'Assalmu Alayka Ayyuhan Nabiyu wa rahmatullah' or the 'Assalmu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah' at the end?
    3) If the Imam goes into ruku while one is still reading Fatiha or the other Surah, must one immediately break his recitation the moment the Imam goes for ruku or should he try finishing quickly and going down with the Imam?

      @IslamicLessonsMadeEasy Před 6 měsíci

      Salam,
      1. You do not need to verbalise it out loud or in your head. Knowing what you are doing is sufficient.
      2. If you mean that you are not on the same rakah as the imam and the imam is reciting Salam, then you may stand up at anytime of the salam
