- Kobe Bryant is finally vindicated from the scrutiny, criticism, and childish remarks granted by those who swore to themselves that Kobe Will never win a title without Shaq. Well that is not the case anymore, the critisim is dwindling amoung the critics, excuses are seeming to come to there utter end. And to think Kobe who won a title finally having all that pressure, "the monkey on his back", finally winning a title being the main guy. Imagine just imagine.....what difference it will make when Kobe Bryant is free spirited, that he doesnt have to worry about being labeled scrutinized and disregarded as a top player of all time. Imagine the type of Player he will be within the next five years. Kobe Bryant "The Vindicated" is free spirited once again. Lakers Triple 2009-2011
we are very fortunate that we got the chance to watch kobe play and appreciate that every moment, i know i would. Thx GOD for HE has created kobe bryant...

slightly OT thing: 3:58. Abdul Jabbar congratulating Gasol on the title. You guys from the US might not understand it, but that guy is as much a legend here in Spain as in the states. Pau was born in a smallish town near barcelona,in Spain...and now he's NBA champion and got to see a legend like Kareem congratulating him for it. It's simply unbelievable.
On Kobe...little to add to what's been said. A legend on the making. We're lucky to enjoy watching him playing. 'nuff said.

I love this. This is the first time have seen so many people comment and say Kobe is the best EVER. It is simple. Competition back then was not what it is today. In Jordan's day they didn't have Gatorade, DVD players for film review, Film editing software, Weightlifting systems, Scientific based workout regime's, Muscle supplements, recruiting staff, and all the new advances that makes A LOT of players GOOD. Kobe has a lot more adversity to overcome to win and achieve what he has. MJ didn't.
right again. remember that jerry west scouted kobe, and also said he was the best try out hed ever seen....kobe was 17 then. 18 when he stepped on the court. from the first preseason game i saw him play ( which was almost the majority of time he saw off the bench in his rookie season lol), i saw something in him that reminded me of that fire, that feeling i got when i saw Magic and showtime run the fast break. truly the greatest
Man, he's got such amazing form on that jumper. I know Ray Allen's jumper is a thing of beauty but the way he squares up is what every baller should aspire to.

i'm not a lakers fan, but damn straight i'm a kobe bryant fan. you can't help but be awestruck at the stuff he does. it's really amazing. kobe gets the foul calls he gets because he puts it all on the line on every possession. and if you don't believe me, then count the number of off shots he attempted and made in this video alone. the guy just doesn't stop no matter how contorted in the air his body is, and that's how you separate the champions from the rest. willingness to sacrifice.

the cavs were sure getting a ton of calls. Kobe was getting fouls left and right. Shaq and Lebron didn't get called for nothing. lamar gets ejected. artest fouls out. fish tech. kobe tech. phil tech. lamar 2 techs. the worst reffed game I've ever seen by far. but the lakers would have never put themselves in that situation if they would have been playing better in the first place. I think everyone but Kobe is starting to relax too much. the team has to play through the bad calls better.
