  • The Fringe Backdrop is made from vinyl tassels and woven into 4 - 8' sections. Each section is on a 10' cotton rope and can be attached to a wall or backdrop stand to create a backdrop for parties, photo booths, head tables or instagram walls. The 4 sections were designed to make a backdrop 8' high by 8' wide. To achieve this size hang the first string 2' off the floor and each following string 2' above the previous one. This will give a full layered look.
    The sections can also be hung individually from a tree, gazebo, or pergola as fringed garland.
    The tassels are 25-30" long from rope to the tip of the tassel.

    I made this for my granddaughter's 5th birthday party and boy was it a hit! Everyone talked about how beautiful the photo backdrop was. I'm so thrilled I found your video! I'm even saving them for future events bc you never know, might be able to replace one or two colors instead of remaking the whole thing again. Thank you for sharing!

      That's wonderful! I'm glad it was such a hit! I often pack these backdrops into a 16x16" box and then just fluff it up again when I need it.

    Looks much easier than the bird netting method and a cheaper option! I'll have to try it this way next time.

    this is amazing thank you for sharing! are you able to use streamer paper instead of table cloth?

    • @EventAnswer
      @EventAnswer  Před 4 lety +1

      You absolutely could! It might have a slightly different look but is a very viable option. I would not use the paper for outside use as the wind (at least where I live) would tear it to shreds and wouldn't withstand any moisture. The paper streamers would save you a lot of cutting time. Happy party planning!

    Did the pvc frame hold up the backdrop good without it being to heavy or is there something i need to use/do to help make it stable ? Im planning on making the pvc frame and backdrop for my daughters birthday

    • @EventAnswer
      @EventAnswer  Před 5 lety +2

      The PVC backdrop held the fringe wall really well. The fringe isn't very heavy so it wasnt a burden. I added tape over the rope as is kept sliding down the pipe. Otherwise it worked really well. Happy party planning!

    What’s the best way to store the fringe when it’s disassembled?? Great video! Love your channel!

    • @EventAnswer
      @EventAnswer  Před 2 lety +1

      Hi Jae, I untie each string from the stand, then fold the string back and forth with the fringe hanging down so I have a zig zag of the cord in my two hands. Then I lay it flat in a box that is about the length of the tassels. It will look like a lot of volume, but they compress down quite a bit. I can get 4 - 8ft strands into a 20x20x20 box nicely which is how I ship these backdrops from my Etsy store. I hope that helps! Thanks for watching!

    What kind of tablecloth did you use? Plastic/paper? Which Brand?

  • @katiethompson9985
    @katiethompson9985 Před 5 lety +1

    Exactly how many table cloths did you use to create this backdrop?

    • @EventAnswer
      @EventAnswer  Před 5 lety +6

      I used 19 tablecloths. 4 of each color except the light pink (2) and silver (1). My store only had 2 in light pink so I used half of a tablecloths worth of strips for each rope instead of a full table cloth. I only wanted hints of silver so I only used one tablecloth and divided it between the 4 ropes. Hope this helps!

  • @gabbyaleman6286
    @gabbyaleman6286 Před 5 lety +1

    So 1 table cloth per each string per color is what it takes?

    • @EventAnswer
      @EventAnswer  Před 5 lety

      That's correct! The only exceptions in my example is the light pink and silver. I used half a light pink tablecloth for a smaller section on each string. I only used one silver cloth for the whole backdrop so it was only a highlight on the backdrop.

      I just buy the $0.99 table cloths from Hobby Lobby since they are my best local option.
