The Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme was launched in 2013 by the Hungarian Government and aims to support international students to pursue studies in Hungarian higher education institutions. The scholarship offers a unique opportunity to develop academically and professionally, to build your network in Europe, and to experience Hungarian tradition and creativity. The programme is based on bilateral educational cooperation agreements detailing the eligible fields, levels and types of study. Today, more than 11 000 Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship holders are currently studying in Hungary on different programmes and degree levels around the country.

Hello! If you are applying for Bachelor degree you need to upload your high school certificate. If you do not have it, you have to provide the declaration that you will upload it in August. If you need to give HEC to get your high school certificate, then you have to give HEC test, if you do not have to pass HEC to get your high school certificate, then no need.

are childhood vaccinations records mandatory?
They are important, but not mandatory, if your physician can confirm that you had it, no need to provide the record of those vaccinations. It was my case, I did not find the records but my doctor confirm that I had it.

it depends on university, I am not much sure about Debrecen, but I know that in most cases international students get dormitory place if they ask for it@@unknownad_official

Yes, first your application will be reviewed by the sending partner (usually Ministry of Education in your country) then it will be sent to university
