💯 If a fighter isn’t relaxed when they punch - they will not have the mobility necessary to generate speed or power or the ability to spontaneously adapt to the opponents moves.
By far the best left hook explanation ive seen on youtube. Thanks Tom!
These pro details make all the difference.
Love your understanding of defensively responsible boxing mechanics.

This man is a WORLD TREASURE! He is an encyclopedia of boxing but what separates him far and beyond the rest is this man is a born teacher! This truly may never be seen again where knowledge and the ability to teach is on the highest level equally!
Thanks for this expert description. I have learned a lot from this short video.
Wow ❤
Sounds like my nan when I don’t do the washing up properly 😅 all I hear is … here to here from here not here but here yes here there’s a difference
You would have zero balance this way. Your meant to set up your punches so you dont get hit. Not move like that. Every punch you should have balance to react and move away.
Thoughts on twisting or rotating the jab.

I question the head remaining at the perfect range for the follow up shot since it'll be coming right behind that first punch. Do you disagree with slipping to the inside, over the front leg, and taking away the range for the second shot while putting you in positing for inside combos?
Wow

I think this explains my shitty left hook.
👀
Wow that was concise
So does the weight stay mostly on that right leg when you engage your left hip flexor?
Get upand do it. You'll answer your own question.
Look at the title to the video

Why aren't all those nowadays champions do not train with this coach? Why all those active coaches like Derrick James, Eddie Reynolso aren't active on social media?
@@hxchxcvery few men actually go pro due to how competitive both amateur and professional boxing is. There are many great American boxing coaches around the nation who are extremely educated, but have never produced a champion out of their gym.
